This is well worth the money as I am a button pusher and very seldom read instructions. Just hook up push menu the discovery and there's your camera. Touch screen and many features.It gave me IP address quickly, But I sent an email to manufacturer this morning. regarding the picture showing the battery. This is within 1 year that I bought it. Otherwise great tool , but now I will let you know if the manufacturers make ot right. This was purchased around October 18th so today is October 12th.

So far so good , just got the item and tried the ip discovery which works great. One thing I would like is ability to add other camera manufacturers apps if I wanted to for ease of access....didnt look like its possible but super value and time saver this device will be indeed. Was aiming and addressing before with a pc...so this is night and day better. Very fast load time...wish power button was a switch to prevent accidentally hitting power in the case. And poe activation is a virtual button wish that was a switch as well. Other then that...awesome.

It's works good. The OS. Is android, but the Google Play store is not available on it. It would be nice to be able to download android apps and access to the Android settings.

This is packed with features but have to purchase a new one because the screen cracked and trying to find a screen protector . Please seller can you recommend.

First off I must say this is not the most portable unit as it is much bigger and heavier than I expected. However, I don't even have the top of the line model yet this thing is packed with features. It also auto updates as long as u have WiFi connected. Its fast at opening, booting and scrolling thru apps. Even has chrome browser. Also the battery lasts forever even when using poe cams. The unit seems built sturdy enough to take a fall. Comes with a nice soft case for added protection and to carry extra test cables etc that it comes with. Tho its a heavy beast it is 1 hand holdable with straps and good gripping area. Tho some have complained about the cable tracer that also comes with it, I found it to work plenty well enough .

This is the third brand of tester that I have tried out.Turns out, third time is the charm!It has the ability to provide 25W of power over POE (802.3at)The connection to a camera is very simple as well.Everything is very intuitive and robust.VERY PLEASED!
