These work great to prevent my dog from sliding around on our wood floors. Now if he would just get used to putting them on, lol. He walks like a horse in them but I know that will stop eventually.

My puppy slides a bit on our wood floors, he slipped trying the stairs, so now he's a bit afraid of the stairs. We live in a house with lots of stairs in cold climate with lots of road salt as well. He's been slowly acclimating to shoes, but we thought socks might help with him adjusting to shoes more. Unfortunately, he's just fully in his landshark era, and it's harder to put a sock on than all his shoes. He'd probably eat them in .2 seconds since he's not finished teething if we left them on. When he was distracted, he did have an easier time running about with the grips on just his back feet. They're very cute socks though and probably much better fit for older dogs.

My dog is 46lbs and 1.5yrs old. She isn’t a chewer, but her claws (nails cut and sanded smooth) cut right through the fabric. One sock already has a tear in it an hour after she put them on.Also, the fit was tight, yet when she sat her foot would slide on the sock and her legs would slip out again.Cute, but impractical.

They stay on all day. Great quality and fit. I use them on my senior dog to prevent further damage since I moved to a home with vinyl flooring- gives her great traction

I did not like these because the removable velcro strap is attached with a snap. The snap is thick, so if you tighten them, the back of the snap presses in to the dogs foot and seems like it would hurt. I stopped using them.The good part of the socks was that the velcro was stretchy so you could tighten them better. (But I still will not use them)

I had to order the large to fit over her interdigital cyst. Two vets have said they won't remove it or they have to remove the whole foot. So we just give her palliative care we cover it with lanolin .
