INSTRUCTION
The plug fits directly in to the mains supply socket, connecting with only the earth conductor. Live and Neutral pins have been molded in insulating plastic, fitting into the supply socket but completely dormant.
The 1M Ohm resistor to each connector offer protection in the event the workstation becomes live. That protection would limit the current to less than 0.3mA at 240 volts. Should the fault current continue the resistor will open circuit.
IInsert the plug into the supply socket making sure it is fully home, then connect the various elements of the EPA...such as ESD wrist strap,ESD Mat, Grounding Cord,Equipment and so on. This ensures that the EPA is at the same earth potential. As generally the workstation has more than one plug socket it is possible to use more than one EBP if more connections are required
The EBP is sealed and cannot be opened for repair. To test each connection use a multi-meter from the connector to the earth pin. The reading should be between 0.9 and 1.1M Ohms. As each connection point has its own 1M Ohm resistor, the resistance between two connectors should be approximately 2M Ohms. All EBP's are tested and then packed.

How To Test The Conductivity
KooMall ESD kit system resistant is 1-3M Ohms. There is 1M Ohms Safety Resistor in each grounding part. That is, there is 1M ohms in ESD Plug, ESD Wrist Strap Coiled Cord and Grounding Cord. So, when you test any part of conductivity by multimeter. You need to choose the right channel which resistance is more than 2M Ohms. Otherwise, there is not any value in multimeter.

very durable seeming mat. its the perfect size for my lab table area. the only issue i had was trying to take off the cord from the wristband, the snap seperated at the rivot, this one is good but it doesnt strech over my hand(big hands/narrow wrists) once the size is set. i like my years old band more. the locatable snap is great for if i need to work in a different section of the mat i just relocate the ground snap.. the 3pin 110V plug is perfect. i like it more than the old way of having to screw the ground the wire to an outlet housing or some other ground point. just plug in and yer set, moves easily too..

Data on static discharge information really isn’t that important to me, but who cares! It makes this Anti-Static pad look great! I have it on my work bench and looks much better than other pads I’ve used. Works great too.Recommend! ðŸ‘

It gave the dimensions but somehow it just isn't big enough for a full size PC tower lay on. Wiosh they made a bigger one.

I purchased the 24" x 48" mat to completely cover my workarea. Seriously, it has a very tough, thick material with multiple connection points and items for grounding.(see center top of my work area, yellow grounding plug into surge protection power strip)Well worth the investment to keep my insane, out-of-control static from destroying my pc parts.

I have some metal tables on rollers with a surface top that is 36 by 24, this fits perfectly on it. It has stood up well even to hot spills, and pipe smoke askes! LOL! Might get another one for the second table, and I love working on the nice blue surface.

I needed a mat to do some upgrades to one of my laptops. I wanted something with a common point ground that would fit on my small bench and this is perfect.The mat laid flat first time I unrolled it with no need to weight the edges or corners. Checked everything with the appropriate meters and all is good. Plenty of room to lay out tools and parts without being cramped.I have only a couple of very minor concerns and certainly not worth deducting a star for. First, the yellow piece that goes into the wall socket is a tight fit. Do not attempt to force it or wiggle it to get it plugged in or you may snap the thin plastic pieces that fit into the Neutral and Hot slots on the wall socket. Instead just use a gentle but steady push without pressing up or down on the unit. It will go in and stay snug. Use the same caution removing it from the socket.The second thing is the wrist strap. It is made of rubber and not of the best quality. The method of attaching it to your wrist is not as secure as most other straps on the market. It could easily be stretched and broken IMO. Also depending on the heat/humidity of your work area the rubber could dry out and crack leading to failure. Lastly, Once you attach the grounding cord it is almost impossible to take off without damaging the strap. I would recommend you just leave it attached permanently.Since I have only owned it a very short time the one thing I can't speak to is the longevity. Only time will tell on that count.Overall I am very pleased with this kit. It is a valuable addition to my work bench and has increased my peace of mind when working on anything electronics related. I would recommend.

this product is really good i built my first pc with this and it does the job. i only have it a four star as it was shipped with the us plug so i had to buy a uk plug so i could use it but around a week later the company contacted me and realised the mistake and refunded me the money from the new plug. definitely would recommend and the customer service is amazing and hassle free.

Wrong plugDespite being on a UK it's a non-uk plug. Useless to me.Mat and strap seem ok but I've still got to order a new plug :-(
