This installed relatively easy, however the locking mechanism is tight and doesn't move much at first. It doesn't say this specifically, but make sure you have known strong or brand new batteries, otherwise you wont make it thru the setup of user code. Once you do setup the initial user code, it configures itself and then the locking lever moves freely and everything works great!

First off I was looking for a new electronic deadbolt option and from searching around found this guy. Had a few little issues installing and following the instruction, but a couple YouTube videos cleared that up. Works great and easy to operate. Keycode isn’t easy to hack or guess just based on finger prints. No accidental activation of lock when closing door like sensitive touch screens.

I installed this lock with no problem and it went quickly. My installation was a retrofit into a steel door and it looks and works great. Programming went quickly without problems also. The only thing I would change would be to choose a rekeyable smart lock version.

I needed to replace my keyless entry lock on my condo and was able to do it in a half an hour. The instructions are very easy to decipher and I recommend it to anyone who’s not that handy

got it in quick after order, opened the box and immediately put it back in and taped it up for return.I've got several of the Kwikset 902s with the Z-Wave and they are rock solid, heavy well fortified deadbolts, this thing is plastic...........yep, cheap low density plastic!!! not recommended for an entry door by any stretch of the imagination. i can't see where this would be useful in any situation, it'll keep an honest person out, but so will the lock on the door knob so you gain NOTHING by adding this other than the electric open feature, and i can't speak on it as i didn't even try it. the 902s are built like a tank, while this is a build like a Styrofoam egg carton.

I am very happy with this purchase. I can't believe I waited this long to buy an electric lock. I now only need one key when I leave the house. We have only had it a month, but it has already paid off in unexpected ways. Things like letting the kids run back inside the house without turning off the car, or letting in a family member that unexpectedly paid a visit inside when we were not at home.I think the most important thing is how it simply works an expected. The unlock speed is very fast. It is already unlocked from the time it takes to enter the code to opening the door. Less than a second. ZERO DELAY IN WAITING! The auto lock set to three minutes is another unexpected benefit because of the kids leaving it unlocked. The backlight also works well. RFID and Bluetooth connectivity is completely unnecessary in my opinion. The last thing I want is another app on my phone.I did have one small issue with the install. The cavity carved out of the door frame for the dead bolt was a tiny bit shallow and would not allow a complete close to register. I simply used a power tool and a drill bit to dug it out 1cm more and I was all set.

Relatively easy to install. I did have to enlarge the diameter of my hole because my door used an older legacy deadbolt. Like that you can rekey it. It threw me for a loop as I finished installing it. The deadbolt wasn't extending. I found in the instructions the lock will learn if you have a left hand or right hand door. I just had to reinitiate it to relearn my door closing side.

Easy physical install. Instructions are a little confusing when it comes to programming the lock. Does not come with batteries. Make sure you have brand new batteries and not install older ones or you may be spending way more time programming then installing.

Does not fit flush on my outer door metal plate to big for standard size hole on my metal door! !!! Also only came with one key !!!! Do not buy waste of money !!!
