Easy to install, rekey with the smartkey system. Works wonderfully as I knew it would. Solved my issue with access. I even paired it with a passage function lever for absolute easy of unlocking and opening.

This is well worth the cost if you want to upgrade from a traditional lock. It’s a great color match and sleek look.Thanks to the smart rekeying I didn’t have to replace my locking door handle or bother with two separate keys.Easy to program, buttons are responsive, and offers visual color warnings for battery health. Install was simple and pain free. Easy DIY improvement at a great price that will get you in your house quick.Temporary codes can be programmed which is this absolute best! I program a one time use code for neighbors, my housekeeper, etc. This keeps my main code safe while allowing others to get in when I’m traveling. Great purchase!

It's easy to install, program, and change to a different key. I set aside 2 hours to remove the old deadbolt, and install this one. It took 30 minutes. Programming the codes is easy, and I appreciate the ability to disable the auto lock function and sound. Changing it to match the key of the previous Kwikset deadbolt took 60 seconds. I did not have to make 6 new keys! I would recommend this product. It looks good, and is at a great price.

Recently purchased a house with 5 entryways on the first floor and replaced all the existing deadbolts with these electronic locks. The build quality feels a step below something like schlage but are very functional. Installation, in my case through replacing old preexisting hardware, is quick and easy. Pin set up is also very quick and painless. One thing I don't like is that auto lock is not preset and must be setup by you.A couple of gripes or observations about these...no batteries are included and each unit requires 4 AA so be prepared. The bolt has a very low bind tolerance and will throw a errors if your catch isn't exactly lined up. Unfortunately for a few of our doors we had to leave the plates off to shave some area before reinstalling.

This thing is a stud. Install was a breeze. Feels very secure and sturdy. Love the keyless entry function but decided not to use because the mother-in-law saw the new lock and wanted her own personal code to use. Yeah nah, told her we decided not to use that keyless function and just stay with the lock portion, lol.

First unit received was defective; the lock/Kwikset button on the keypad did not work. Customer service rep was very helpful on the phone, but insisted the problem was the set of brand-new Duracell batteries I was using. She told me she would "open a case for me" and I should call back once I had a new set of batteries to try; she never did open a case. I submitted the return/replace through Amazon and had a new unit within a day. The new unit worked fine with the same batteries. The only issue with the new unit was that the collar that spirals in and out to adjust the bolt depth slipped off its track when I was tapping the bolt into place. I had to force it back into place, and then be very careful not to do it again. Seems like that should be a component that does not fail so easily.I would say, with my experience and the plethora of reviews here with similar experiences, expect to need to return the unit at least once before you get a working one. I think I'll probably go with a Schlage next time.

This smart lock is simple and easy to use. Purchased it for the door of the workshop and it works perfectly. Now I don’t have to carry keys around the yard all the time.

My friend has this exact lock. I instantly fell in love with it when I was visiting her. I don't have to worry about my key. I do keep it on me but it's nice to be able to walk out the door and know it's going to automatically lock seconds after. It's nice and convenient especially because my kid doesn't always latch the door or friends come in and don't lock it and it can pop open. So when people come in it locks and the pets can't get out. Gives me peace of mind when my hubby is away or when I'm home on my day off sleeping. I'll never go back to a regular lock system.
