These are very good nylon strings for a short scale guitar, Venezuelan cuatro strung as a baritone ukulele, baritone ukulele, and even a baritone ukulele strung and tuned as a piccolo bass (low to high, EADG. Unless you order something to be delivered along with the set of strings, the string set comes in an envelope that weighs practically nothing. I received an email from Amazon with a photo of my string set delivered to my front door. The problem was the day was windy and the package wound up in the snow in my neighbor's front yard. With your order, specify it be sent in a box or order a can of Mandarin oranges to be delivered with your string set.

Have purchased this set before- but $40? The scale is shorter and the overall string tension differs from a normal length set. Guess the demand is less, so the price is higher. Think I’d rather use high or extra high tension regular length strings and take my chances.

Takes some repeated tuning. By the time the tuning sticks the G string begins to unravel on the 2/3 fret so it helps that it comes with two (seems to be a known issue then). Problem is the second G string also begins to unravel in no time and eventually will snap. I like 4 steel strings instead of 3 but the G string is steel wrapped around nylon(?) and just doesn't last.

Been a guitar teacher for many years. Have taught kids with very poor quality 3/4 size guitars and never wanted to risk spending on good strings to put on low quality instruments. Should have taken the plunge sooner! Great tone on these strings have lifted the sound of a very mediocre instrument making it much more pleasurable to play. Will definitely use these strings again.

Ces cordes fonctionnent bien, elles sont argentées et le son pourrait être plus chaleureux mais elles sont très bien pour un enfant débutant.
