I tried many other clocks and weather stations. None are like this one. This one works well. It is well built. I bought my first one 6 years ago and it is still going strong. I bought this one for my man sports cave. It is 100% accurate unlike those knock off ones. The remote unit works 200 feet away. Very bright display with three modes to choose. It is perfect. No issues. Very easy to set up. Just set the time and the rest is automatic. It does take 24 hours to sync so be patient. The only thing that I don't like it's the angle is hard to see the blue humidity when sitting down. I only care about the temperature and glad that it's white in color. I do wish it was bigger for my man cave which is 40 feet long. It's hard to see that far away. Highly recommend.

This weather station has been very accurate. All the displays are easy to read. The outside sensor works well too.

I like that it is bright colorful colors and gives accurate weather results. The only thing I do not like is that it is hard to see from a distance.

My wife decided she needed a weather station in the kitchen since walking the five steps to the one in the living room was too difficult for her, so we started researching. There is no shortage of these gizmos on the market, so we ended up going through a bunch before setteling on this one, and it was worth the effort. She really likes this machine - the informations is large enough for her to see easily and it has just about everything one really needs to know what's going on inside and outside with no info we really don't need; for example, the living-room machine has UVI level, Kfc (chicken measure?) something and the pressure, none of which are maningful for us. In addition, the info shown is quite large, larger than necessary for her poor eyes. Of real use to me is that all the info is adjusted automatically. I was looking forward to a miserable time of setting all the measurements and, lo and behold, it all set automatically - I didn't have to do anything. Of course this is a relatively new purchase so I can't comment on its longevity which is a problem we've had with other brands - they give up the ghost after a year or two. I would definitley recommend this to folks who just want the basic info on the weather and aren't worried about wind speed or rain level (which I find useful on my other one for gardening purposes).

My husband had a previous model for probably 10 years. When the older model finally died we both missed it so much we purchased this one. Same great quality and accuracy. This is a very handy gadget to have and makes a great gift idea for someone who has everything!!

This is a HUGE upgrade from the piece of junk I bought from Walmart a few years ago. The display is bright and the remote sensor worked as soon as I put in the batteries. The one this replaced always had a problem communicating with the sensor and the past few months I was going through batteries like crazy. This one at least has an AC adapter and just that feature alone makes it worth buying it. There are videos on YouTube that show how to set this up too, in case you don't like to read directions.Two and half year update: I bought this in April 2017 and if worked flawlessly. I've only had to change the batteries once in that time until recently. Just a few days ago I had to change the batteries again. After jumping through all the hoops to do that to make it work again (take out the batteries from both the station and remote, unplug the station, press any button at least 20 times and leave it unplugged for 15 minutes), which there is no documentation on unless you happen to find this instruction on their youtube channel, my remote only works for a day or two and I have to repeat the process. So it's clear to me I have to buy either a new remote for over $25 of a new station and remote for $65. Yes, two and a half years is a long time but I think this should have lasted a lot longer since there are no moving parts, just electronics. The remote doesn't even look water proof since when I first opened it a few days ago, there was water in it. You'd think they'd make these things water proof, or at least water resistant. But oh, you can buy the weather-proof case for these remotes for $18.

I bought this to get the forecast and to know how cold it is outside. What good is it to know inside temperature and humidity? The outdoor sensor has to be placed in the shade but since I have a southern exposure where I mounted the sensor (on the back porch) , the sun causes temperatures to read much higher. I just use it to get date and time which are the smallest numbers on the display. The only forecast is a flashing display with clouds and a trend arrow but no forecast. I had to repair my Lacrosse C84343 which has a legiitimate forecast with temperatures and percent chance of precipitation and phone app. I just used my old Linksys dd-wrt to get a 2.5 Ghz to connect the C84343 weather station which didn't work with dual band router.

At certain angles display can be somewhat hard to read. Aside from that a nice device, worth the money.

Just got this yesterday. Very well packaged and easy to understand set up instructions. The colours are amazingly vibrant and clear. Using the power cord is a must and I'm told the cost is very minimal if you want the light on all the time. There's a button that I have not as yet tried to use that regulates the brightness. Yes, I agree with others about limited viewing angle but it's not that of a big deal. I can see the outdoor and indoor temps from about 6 ft away, but not the date and time. I tend to want to follow the temps several times a day. I love that it is large and so easy to read, and the animated raindrops or snowflakes are a nice touch. I will do another review in about a couple of weeks to see how it's going but for now, I'm really enjoying it.

El monitor esta muy bien solo que el sensor remoto NO transmite cuando la temperatura supera los 35 grados centÃgrados, a pesar de que el sensor esta en su protector, abajo de esta temperatura todo muy bien, lo acabo de adquirir, espero que me puedan cambiar el sensor por uno que funcione correctamente en todo el rango que se indica en su hoja técnica.
