Product Description

ambient weather personal professional home station

The Ambient Weather EZ2-35W2MC pole mounting kit is a quick to install & user friendly solution to mounting your weather station. Assemble the 6 masts to achieve your desired height (up to 66 inches), then use the clamps & lag screws to mount your sensor to any vertical surface.

The slender design is simple, unobtrusive and aesthetically pleasing. Works with most weather stations.

Quality Construction

This mounting system is strong, durable and stable. Constructed of rust proof 10-steel tubing, galvanized using the Flo-Coat (zinc-chromate polymer) for excellent corrosion proof protection.

Mounts Almost Anywhere

This mount is ideal for mounting against a flat vertical surface like a fence post, side of building, or wall. It can also be paired with our EZ-PTP for mast to mast mounting with a chain link fence, flag pole, antenna, or another Ambient Weather mount.

Mounting Rules of Thumb

Wind: the wind gauge should be mounted four times the distance of the differential height of the tallest obstruction.

Temperature: Mount at least 5 feet away from any radiation source (building, ground).

NOTE: Anemometer pictured is not included.

It works fine, the attaching mechanisms is bit weird, but I was able to work with it

Easy to set up. Great with networked features. Found out that others in my city also use this.

It’s good, very sturdy, if you are not a jack of all trades you may need help to secure it.

Works Great! The only thing I could ding on is the signal range. It had a hard time going through 2 interior walls and 1 exterior, just to go 20 feet into the yard.

I’m having so much fun with this weather station. Today is the first storm that I get to use it in. We’ve already gotten over an inch of rain and it’s fun to watch the wind speed when the trees are blowing. We’re supposed to get 40 to 50 mile an hour gusts tonight. Woohoo!I expected it would be made more sturdy. I’ll just have to wait and see how long the plastic lasts.Seems to be accurate, I would recommend this product. (don’t forget to order the mounting pole, it doesn’t come with it) 😉

I’m a bit disappointed that it wasn’t packaged well. The ends need taped up. I took photos before I opened it. I could put my hand in the box from both ends. After I figured out I had all of the pieces, it assembled pretty easy. A good length and about the right weight. It’s solid and not thin. I attached it to another pole I had mounted to my chimney. Light wind moves it I think because the pole has weight to it. The end is not 1 1/4 in. An old Vansky antenna will not fit on it, but the new one does because it was made with two wing nut fasteners. It’s a solid pole.

My husband bought a little too much weather station. You would have to be a meteorologist to appreciate all of it's features. Connecting to the internet was a little more complicated. The instructions failed to mention that the backspace button was the enter key when inputing your network info. After 45 minutes I figured it out by accident and it went smoothly from there.

Did I say overpriced ... I should have said phenomenally overpriced. Let my experience by your guide. Go to your local hardware store and get the bits to build it yourself. Take the money you save and treat yourself to a nice dinner out ... or a tank of gas ... and revel in your genius for not buying this. I don't know what I was expecting but it was more than what I got. You have been warned and should you decide to buy this, wellll don't blame me. You can join me for a tepid cheap beer and ruminate on our foolishness.
