Like the tittle says, pretty solid bump helmet for a very decent price. I've seen some go for cheaper which might be the same or close to being the same as this one but I went with this one because of other reviews and it didn't disappoint. The quality seems good, especially for the price point, of course don't expect it to be the same quality as a $1k helmet or something but it should stand a little bit of abuse, will report on that later since I haven't had this long enough yet. It is very comfortable with the padding it comes with but I got another set of pads to reinforce that comfort a little bit, you can get them for like $10 bucks but it's something you don't absolutely need so no big deal. The rails seem to be accurately sized, so fit is pretty good for accessories like ear protection or lights etc... As far as the size, my head is a bit on the small side and this helmet fits almost perfect, the helmet actually feels like it may be a bit on the small side because I feel if my head was any bigger, the sides padding would probably make it too tight as it already makes it tight so I just moved them up more towards the top and barely have any side padding on it now. My head, I believe is around 21.5 - 22 inches so if you have a bigger melon, I probably wouldn't go this helmet as it probably would be too small for you. The shroud for mounting NVG/NODS or whatever optic you want to mount there is ok. I feel like it does its job and does hold my PVS-14 but I definitely wouldn't be confident with it doing heavy and rough activities with it, I think it will be fine for light training, range shooting or hiking and things like that. I will be upgrading the shroud with a metal heavy duty one like the Wilcox since I care about my nods and don't want this one to crack and maybe have a boo boo lol.Now remember that this is a bump helmet and won't give you any protection other than hitting your head against a table or something... with that said, I would recommend this for training since it's light weight and gets you started to feel what it's like to have a heavy thing on your head for long periods of time. Trust me, it's not as easy as they show on movies and TV, you will get headaches and neck pain and even make you feel dizzy at times so getting used to and getting familiar with it is a must... and this is a great starting point that won't break the bank. For airsoft stuff, for sure it'd be great. So if you are looking for a good training bump helmet, or if you need something light because of specific reasons like neck problems or back problems, this helmet is a great option as a starter imho.I gave it 4 stars because so far everything looks good but I don't know the durability and quality over time so after a while and after I put some good use to it, I will update to maybe 5 stars if it holds up as good as it looks!Update: after almost 4 months and a good deal of use, I can say it is holding up pretty good 👠I mostly just do hikes and some light training with it but always use it with the pvs-14 (night vision) on it. I haven't abused the hell out of it or anything but for my needs and use, it is great. I'm updating to 5 stars because even though it is not the absolute best quality, it is pretty darn great, it's held up excellent so far and for this price point, it deserves a 5 star!

Fits very nicely and is lightweight but durable, and the padding/head locking system is very good. the included velcro being separate was also a plus, so i could customize it to my liking.

Lemme just say this helmet is extremely good quality and is worth the money.However….My head size is 22 inches and it was way too small. I was not able to comfortably wear this helmet. I highly recommend you go for the large-X-large if your head size is 22 inches and higher.

Bought this bump helmet for occasional use at the range. Seems very good quality and comes with all the necessary padding inside as well as velcro loops outside. Feel comfortable to wear and light. I added a OneTigris cover and Kydex weight pouch. I will update after a few uses.

So for starters I purchased the loogu helmet and this lancer for comparison on quality and planned to keep the nicer of the two. Upon receiving there is no comparison. The lancer is almost identical to the real thing where the loogu feels and looks much cheaper. The Multicam and tan helmet in my pics is a genuine ops core helmet and the black and green helmet is the lancer with a Idogear cover. As you will see from the pics, the lancer has real leather suede just like the real ops core, the harness system also has the same engraving and stitching pattern, making me think they are likely made at the same place. The harness on the loogu lacks the markings and feels and looks much cheaper. If you want a bump helmet this is hands down the one to get. I wouldn’t even consider the cheaper brands and on the flip side I wouldn’t even consider an actual ops core. I wear a size 7 1/4†hat with a 22.5†diameter head and this helmet fits me in a M/L but I don’t have any extra room.

I was skeptical about buying a helmet like this at first. I ordered it anyway and I love it. It fits my head very well with the adjustable suspension system. It works just like a good quality hard hat or welding hood system. Which is nice besause you can adjust it easily in the field on the fly. I mounted a light on mine and use ESS goggles with it. I also wear Howard Leigh electronic hearing protection ear muffs and they fit underneath the helmet quite well and comfortably.
