the part is what I requested---it will fit the truck just fine. quality is good. I will not install for a few weeks yet as the truck is not driven in the salty winter weather.

This 201 coupling fit the gearbox just fine, but does NOT have the small copper strip that ties connectitvy across the rubber disc to the two coupling halves as OEM rag joint couplings do. This conductivity is needed to ensure that the horn works as per design. The Lares 200 is needed for a manual gearbox.

Works great on my '72 Pontiac Ventura II (3rd gen x-body). Has grounding so the horn still grounds & works as it should. Got rid of all the slop in steering as well. Nice piece all round.
