I found the pointer did exactly what I wanted it for. I had prepared a presentation that included a wall display. I used the pointer to direct attention to the portion of the display that I was speaking about. It made it much easier for my audience. Particularly nice was the fact that the pointer was easy to stick in my shirt pocket when I didn't need to use it. NICE!

I got this for my cats, and this baby is so bright that I have to be very careful it doesn't reflect off the floor/walls and hurt their eyes. (My floor and walls aren't even particularly reflective!) The battery is still newer, so it'll probably dim a bit after enough playtime.Compared to other laser pointers I've used, this one is very ergonomic for the time it takes to wear out a couple of young cats.

It worked well for about three weeks, then the USB charger sank into the body of the pointer and it can no longer be charged. Junk.

Both my cat and dogs love it. It is very bright when not using the filter. The filter is easy to remove. Will update once I see how well it charges with a male USB sticking out of the back of the light. It is a bit awkward of a connection, and seem possible heavy enough to damage a USB port on a computer.

Let’s be real—no one uses a laser pointer so much that you’ll be able to comment on most of the functions a week after buying it. That said, the option to create other patterns is fun and the option to screw off the pattern filter is effective. The product feels solid so I feel great bringing it to my cat-owning friends’ homes and it will make it home safe. The price is great for what it is…a red laser pointer. Compared to other colors, in a long tested product market, it’ll be fine for the rarity I need to use it. Size-wise, it is a bit bulky compared to some products you will find, but I don’t need it to be pocket friendly anyway, especially when I factor in the option to recharge instead of the hassle of constantly buying batteries that are difficult to find.

I had to break off the disc that created the pattern . I just wanted a single laser point for my kittens to chase. It's very durable and I like that you can charge it rather then change batteries.
