About this item

  • 【TAPE/LASER MEASUREMENTS】The Digital Tape Measure with Laser smoothly switches between tape and laser measurement modes for both close and long distance measurements. Maximum measuring distance of the tape measure: 5m. The advanced laser mode has a range of up to 196ft, which greatly extends the limits of the tape measure and ensures that it can be used in any measurement scenario.
  • 【DIGITAL DISPLAY】Both the laser gauge and the tape measure can be read on the display. The display can show the data measured by the laser as well as the data measured by the tape measure, making measurement readings easier.
  • 【TYPE-C REECHARGEABLE DESIGN】Charged by rechargeable battery and USB Type-C connector with charging cable. The tape measure is small and easy to carry around. Laser: Class 2, Maximum Laser Output <1mW.
  • 【AUTOMATIC CALCULATIONS】In addition to measuring individual lengths, the digital tape measure automatically calculates area, volume, indirect horizontal distance and height, eliminating the need to write down each length for manual calculations and improving measurement efficiency and accuracy for complex tasks.
  • 【POWER SAVINGS】Our laser distance measuring tape is so energy efficient that it automatically turns off the laser after 30 seconds of inactivity, and shuts off after 180 seconds of inactivity to save power.

This 3 in 1 digital tape measurer by Aicevoos is a big help when you have to measure distances greater than several feet.Anyone having had to measure say ,the wall to wall distance by themselves with a regular tape measure you know it can be a bit difficult .Especially if you have no anchor point to hold the end of the tape, with this you won't have that problem ,simply use the laser which can accurately measure a distance of more than 100 ft , almost 200 ft.The instruction manual is pretty straightforward and easy enough to read as the font is not that small, it's written in 7 languages. The digital display is very clear , and is easily switched from metric to english system whichever you prefer with the push of a button (function switch) .My unit came fully charged and ready for work , it comes with a USB type-c charging cable ,I make note of the fact that the instructions caution you against using a fast charging charger .The tape itself is capable of measurements up to 16 feet, the retracting mechanism is very powerful be careful when retracting the tape .The unit is solidly built and as long as I dont lose it ,it should last a very long time.

This tape measure provides a digital readout for both the physical tape as well as the laser pointer. I have a name brand laser measurer for work that I use all the time (it's full of functions too), but sometimes the physical tape is easier to use. The neat thing about this tape measure is that it provides a digital readout for the tape measure as well, something I haven't seen elsewhere. I'm used to reading the measurement off the tape itself, which can still be done with this tape, but I found myself deferring to the digital readout instead as soon as I started using this. I did glance at the tape as well the first few times just to make sure the readout was correct. While this tape measure does provide the ability to do lots of calculations, I plan to use it mainly for just measuring. I think the area function is one that I may use occasionally for square footage. As I said earlier, I have a laser measurer at work and I've already found multiple applications for using this one at home. The tape is 16 foot, but the laser is good for nearly 200 feet (196 exact). The laser appears to have plenty of intensity. The display is LED so it is easy to read in all conditions (not LCD).The thing I find confusing and inconvenient is having to press the release button to pull the tape out. To me, this makes it more difficult to use and requires both hands (one on the device and one holding the tape) so that the tape doesn't return unexpectedly. I'm used to being able to pull the tape out and having the device automatically keep the tape from retracting since I don't push the button when pulling the tape out. With this one, you have to be careful to keep it from retracting: just a slight bump and the tape retracts. Also, this tape is rather bulky and heavy. It's a 16 foot tape, but it's bigger than a 25 foot tape.

I am a b+ student when it comes to techy stuff so I was very excited to try this laser tape measure. It also has a “normal” tape measure that will give you a digital readout, which is nice. While charging the device while I perused the instructions bought me some time to figure out how to toggle to the measurements I wanted. You can do meters, inches (with decimal) and feet with decimal. Instructions said it has an inches and feet toggle but I did not see that with this model. The photos I took show the same measurement sitting in a chair and lasering the wall across the room and toggling between m, feet, inches.I do wish it had a CM/mm function but not a deal breaker since it does have meters so you can just divide by 100 or 1000 for cm or mm since I deal with a lot of foreign measurements in my daily use I’d measuring devices.I look forward to busting out my laser measure and getting very accurate measurements. Also note it does have a standard tape measure that reads digital too.

The problem with laser rangefinders is that one needs a hard target for the beam; one can’t easily measure the distance to an open corner of a room, for example. Therefore a tool which combines a hook-end measuring tape and laser in one is a useful toolbox addition. This version has a clear 4-line digital display (auto-off in 30s idle) and measures in meters, feet, inches or feet/inches with three significant digits after the decimal point. I did not try out all functions: length, volume, single or double Pythagoras measurement. The device stores 100 previous readings, allows for cumulative additive/subtractive measurement, can be set (in laser mode) for front or back of device as a reference point and has both single and continuous readout modes. 60m laser precision is specified as +/- 3mm, 16ft tape measure (marked in both British and metric units) as +/- 1mm. The device measures 101x79x37mm and weighs 280g. The manual specifies an 800mAh battery but the device itself is stamped “350mA”; charging is via a usb-c port (cable supplied)- the manual states a low power (eg. 5V/1A) charger be used.

This laser measuring tape would take your job if it had legs. It seems to do it all - even area and angle calculations, if you can remember which buttons to push and in which order. Do NOT lose the instruction manual if you plan to use those advanced functions, lol.Comparing with another tape measure and a yardstick, both the tape and the laser seem to be accurate. It's easy to switch between Metric and Imperial measurements, and the screen is easy to read in all the lighting (and lack thereof) that I've tried. It *is* pretty heavy, you'll want to put this in its own belt hanger or tool pouch rather than hang it straight off of your belt. Two thumbs up for USB-C recharging!

Consigliato!

I wish I'd had something like this sooner. Measuring the full perimiter of a room takes seconds. And you dont have to calculate things like total perimiter length or even the area, as it does it for you.It does double as a tape measure, but for me the main feature is the laser distance. It works beautifully. And measuring the perimiter of an entire room is as simple as placing this in each corner and clicking a button. No faffing around with extending/retracting a tape, or having the try and make sure the tape stays in place as you extend it to it's limits. The last time I had to measure a full room I had to move furniture out the way, so I could get the tape along the floor's edge. With this you can bypass all of that. It's incredible. It saves a lot of time, and is actually really acurate. There's a few modes that I find to be not very accurate, though. Both of the pythagorean modes, where you take several measurememts and it generates a distance using geometry. For that to be accurate, you need to take the measurements from the same point in space. And it can be a real challenge to do just by holding it. It really needs some sort of tripod mount for that to be good. When testing on a wall that was 2.5m wide, the results were centimeters off the actual distance. It'd be even more than that if the distances measured were bigger. There's just too much error when trying to manually taking measurements from the same point in space. The main laser distance worker perfectly though, it's only the pythaogorean modes that aren't that good. And it's really only because you have to hold it. The actual function of those modes perform as expected. If you can figure out how to take measurements from the same point in space, it would be very accurate.Overall, it's a great tool for taking easy and accurate point to point distances.
