I tested this against some other LCR meters I have and it gives almost the same reading for the different components.There was only a small difference, and this may be due to differences in the accuracy of the meters I was comparing this one to.This worked good for sorting out the failed capacitors from an old project that was having issues.One issue I have seen is that the included battery failed after about two minutes of use, and this caused the readings to change dramatically. It would also not zero with a weak battery.Installing a new alkaline battery fixed this issue.I have not used it enough after the new battery was installed to see if it will run this battery down quickly, it may have been just a bad battery that was included in the box.The included battery was not an alkaline battery, just an old style heavy duty one.It also had an issue where the label around the power buttons and zero knob was off center and causing the rubber buttons to get stuck when they were pressed.The holes also looked to be a little bit too small for the buttons and knob.The button would go under the edge of the label and get stuck lifting up on the label.I had to peel the label off, make the holes a little bigger, and put it back on to prevent this problem.

Measured well and gave pretty good readings on known components that I tried. Had to return because it wouldn't power down unless you took out the battery. Thought about doing an exchange, but ended. up going with a different meter.

I keep misplacing my expensive LCR meter and need one I can toss in the toolbox and not worry about. Accuracy is pretty good and its dead simple to use. Measures resistance also so that's a plus. For somebody that grew up with a beloved but shot-in-the dark Tek 130 this is fabulous.
