This wood burner was bought for a Christmas present for our daughter to continue making burned wood crafts. The quality was excellent and for the price, it was a great deal to get the burner, tons of tips, stencils, and a case. Highly recommend!

After unpacking and spinning up with the steb center (not driving wood yet) I noticed a bit too much vibration with the drive center on the lathe. I put a dial indicator on a couple of the drive centers in this set and they all show about 0.005" out. I suspect that the threads on the drive cone are to blame. I couldn't find a way to contact the seller to see what they have to say, maybe I just got a bad one.

The live center runs smooth. The spur center with the spring loaded center pin is much better for small items than the large 1" center that came with the lathe.

This is a very nice set of centers for spindle turning. The spur center and the ball bearing live center will satisfy the majority of my needs for spindle turning. The #2 MT fits securely in both my headstock and tailstock, and doesn't spin after extended use, yet they remove easily with a moderate tap with my knockout bar. They run true and are vibration free. They seem to be well machined to fine tolerances. For the price, they are a good bargain. They come shipped on a very heavy, foam-lined cardboard box, just like the box my expensive cell phone was packed in.

The crown drive is described as having a spring loaded center point. It does not. The center point is fixed.
