I've tried to learn the guitar before, but I have a hard time remembering chords by name, and identifying keys. This set of cards is a good visual reference. When you slide the card under the strings at the top of the neck, the finger indicators and the slots in the card indicate where to put your fingers to play the chord. True, the cards won't hold up over time (they're cardboard, after all), but hopefully you won't need to use them after you've committed the chords to memory. The whole box, and the card design, are pretty cool-looking. I think it's a good learning aid or gift for a guitar newbie.

While you can get them in behind the strings they do not like to stay their.

I like the little things but they fall off. I can still use them to view and they are nice.

I am coming from the point of view of someone who has been playing guitar for 50 years now, So I don't think this product was really meant for me, but I do like to refresh my memory of chords I don't use or forgotten, so I tried this set out, but it has some problems, even for beginners.I tested this on a Fender Telecaster deluxe electric guitar, they did not fit well (I think these will work better for Acoustic guitars) the cards are very thin plastic and bend very easy, I found the cards got in the way of playing the chords, the bend tab did not fit the neck of an electric guitar and as such was useless. The price of what you pay and what you get is ridiculous, you don't get a full set of chords and why it is missing some very rudimentary ones doesn't make any sense to me and for the price should included them as a complete set, this set is not worth the money! The company who made these missed a great opportunity in the back of the cards don't have any information, chord variations or tips etc. on the back and they say these are a premium/deluxe chord card set, do yourself a favor a get a good guitar chord book, you will learn more and save a few bucks, this is a very disappointing product, incomplete, poorly executed and overpriced.

These cards don't stay in place where they should. No wonder the guy who promotes them on social media has his guitar upright..but who plays the guitar that way? Disappointed.

The cards look great. The packaging looks smart. They just don't stay put on the guitar neck. The use of blue-tac comes in handy.

Product works well. The choice of material is excellent - with a good balance between flexibility and sturdiness. For brand new players trying to learn chords on their own, it's a convenient learning and reference tool - instantly being able to see at a glance the hand-pattern and being able to hear the chord is good reinforcement for learning, and quite satisfying. One minor nitpick would be that the dots that indicate which fingers go on which strings are all centrally aligned in the middle of the fret - it would be nice if they were offset to indicate a truer impression of where they'd actually lie on the fret when making the chord shape.Would also be nice if there was a small paragraph or pamphlet describing the absolute basics of how to fret the chords - hand position, tension, optimum finger position on the fret.As it stands, these do require the bare minimum of background knowledge to make use of - and if people are getting those fundamentals from another information source, it does somewhat suggest they could just as easily learn the chords by reading them. But the convenience of these cards is a virtue all of itself - they are tangibly superior than trying to make your own cheat-sheets from paper. The box they come in is nice - they fit snuggly into the foam insert so don't rattle around or get loose; its magnetic seal stops them falling out. Very convenient for sticking in a guitar case's pocket without having to worry about them falling out all over the place and getting bent or mangled.
