Works great!Easy install for a dual battery and isolator setup. I ran a red 12gauge wire from the main positive to the top post on the gauge, then repeated that for the aux battery, attached to the middle post on the switch. The black wire from - chassis ground - ( a bolt in the engine compartment served to anchor the grounding wire) went to the bottom post.Just remember that the red wire from main battery goes on top post, red wire from aux goes to middle post, and black wire (chassis ground) goes to bottom and you should be good to go! Pretty bright display, as well.I mounted mine to a panel, but it's not completely wired up in this photo. It will be in addition to the voltmeter on the switch panel, and then I update with accuracy numbers.

I can't vouch for it's accuracy, but it was a quick and painless install. It's a little bright when it's really dark out, but then again, most all of them are. I added a second (auxiliary) battery and an isolator (so the primary doesn't get run down) to my Honda Pioneer 1000-5 SXS. All my accessories are powered by the AUX battery while the main OEM battery only has to worry about starting and running the DCT transmission. This voltmeter allows me to ensure both batteries are charging and operating properly.

Does what it is suppose too and doesn't hurt your night vision.

Pretty straightforward install. Using it to monitor both batteries in my Land Cruiser. My only gripe is with how insanely bright it is. It lights up my entire face at night.

I installed it and am very pleased. I was worried able the quality because it was so inexpensive but looks and works good. Hooked up both sides are very accurate. I compared it to my handheld south-wire voltmeter. Very straight forward install.

This is an identical replacement unit, from a different Amazon seller, to replace one that was nearly two years old in which several of the LED segments had failed causing the voltage displayed to be hard to read accurately. This volt meter is installed in a '21 Kawasaki Teryx 4 S LE and is a different color from the one it replaces. My SxS has several extra aftermarket goodies installed, including a 4500# Traveller winch, an LED light bar and backup lights, a Blue Sea Systems smart battery isolator, the largest Deep Cycle Marine battery I could fit into a homemade water tight, weather and rain proof battery box which i squeezed into the available depth dimension of the bed. Anyway, this large reserve battery is the AUX battery mainly intended to operate the winch and light bar without the risk of being stranded because of a completely discharged MAIN start battery, which is literally a lawn mower battery and is fine for starting but is simply not adequate for a winch or any other high power draw accessory. So, I guess the point I'm getting to is that I need a fully functioning and reliable volt meter to monitor the voltages of both batteries in real time out in the wild, so that I know if there is a malfunction that requires getting back to the trailer and civilization ASAP. I really like this meter better than the one it replaces because it is brighter and easier to read at a glance while also matching the various dash and switch LED's as well as the exterior graphics colors of my machine. The attached picture indicates the voltages present while the battery tender/maintainer was in a charge/maintenance cycle and I have the LED indicator of the battery isolator covered with my finger in order to get a better picture. I can't see how anyone could go wrong buying this unit. I hope mine lasts a long time but if it dies in a couple, or three or four years, at this price point it is no big deal, Ill just order another like it

I’ve been using this meter for about 2 weeks so far. On the input side of my portable solar controller. No problems as of yet! The meter has reached peaks of 25 volts of more without burning out. Time will tell..... The meter isn’t the greatest on voltage accuracy, 0.2-0.3 of a volt low. But good enough. The meter itself will come to life around 3 to 4 volts. How accurate it is down there, I never checked yet.Not recommend for anything over 15 volts.Prolonged voltage over 15 volts will greatly reduce the life of this meter.Obviously this meter is designed for a cars electrical system, and nothing else.

I bought this solely based on the description that it can handle up to 60volts input. Was going to use on a 48volt golf cart to monitor the pack voltage (48v-55v) and the auxiliary circuit (12v). This is not the case. Tried two of them as the first one cooked immediately. The second one I hooked up to the 12v circuit first. It displayed great and bright. Disconnected and hooked to the pack voltage (51v) the device fried.Giving it 3 stars as it appears that it would work great for a main/aux 12v battery setup. But the description is misleading.

Impossible to read the digits in daylight. Not sure if the unit was defective or if that's just the way they are. Sent it back.
