This kit or one like it is almost essential when installing your first LED light strips. I ended up using all but 1 jumper wire and the Y-splitter. Definitely glad I had the forethought to buy this when I grabbed the light strips. Note: The strips can be a REAL pain in the butt when trying to "slide into the extension/jumper" wires. - I found out LEAVE THE BACKING ON (if your LED strip has an adhesive back)! - Ensure the strip is under the guide tabs on each side of the receiving part of the jumper - Use even pressure on the srtip sliding down, straight (gently yet with pressure) if the strip bends, no worries its fine. Just don't make it look like a piece of foil and you should be fine. - This is the tedious and most annoying part of a clean install, second only to wire routing/hiding.Definitely buying another kit, just a bigger and more diverse one, as the next project on the Honey Do List requires it.

I got these for my Bluetooth Govee lights (model H6138) because I got a faulty set that had one section of lights with the green out (shown in 1st picture). Govee did send me a replacement for free after messaging them in the app, but they let me keep the broken ones and I figured I'd see if I could use these clips to fix them. As you can see, it worked like a charm! You just have to make sure the strip is slid under the prongs completely, as shown in my last picture where you can barely see the gold on the strip. Now I feel better about needing to cut my strips to fit a space because I can always clip them back together with these.I haven't tried any of the splitters/extenders/corners so I can't speak to those, but the connector clips work as well as I'd hoped!

I purchased this kit thinking I could use it for some Govee M1 LED light strips I am installing under my kitchen cabinets. The kit came with a number of connectors, wires and pins but sadly none of them fit the Gove strips which are larger than 10mm. I still plan to use it with a different set of LED strips I own that do fit. Shipping was fast and the packaging is decent. I wish it came with better instructions but it would be difficult for the manufacturer to know how they would be used so I sorta understand leaving them out. For the price I recommend this kit.

Excellent package of connectors for installing LED lightstrips. This package appears to have high quality components with sufficient instructions to enable their use. This purchase is one of the ones where you spread everything out and inspect the connectors, count to be sure you received everything advertised, then, quite satisfied, you wonder how they can put together such a package for this incredibly low price? I mean, sure, you assume it's from China (or similar origin) and their labor is cheap, etc. In addition to the project underway, I can do a couple of additional projects with the leftover connectors. Outstanding, highly recommended.

Do not buy this kit if you don't have a soldering iron. I was already expecting to do some soldering work since the 4 wire cable is cut to fit, but the kit doesn't come with extra 4 pin female connectors, so I had to cut the clip ends off of the shorter jumpers and solder them to the ends of my extension wire. I also covered my soldered connections with heat shrink sleeves, and unless you already have this type of equipment at hand, I wouldn't recommend this kit.Next, the concept of a clip connection is a joke. The clips are totally unreliable, and it didn't take much experimentation before I realized that the connections needed to be soldered. I was working with both waterproof and non-waterproof light strips--both need to be soldered for a reliable connection. My tips for working with the L and T connectors:Method 1: Pull the plastic clips off of the connectors and throw them away. Tape the led strips and connector down to a board to hold them in place while you solder the strips to the connector. Do this before you peel and stick the light strips.Method 2: This method is helpful if you want to put the connector on in place while you are sticking your led strip to the wall or ceiling. Start by prepping your strip ends by putting a small bead of solder on each lead. Use a knife to pry up the metal pins in the plastic connector clips to make it easier to slide in the strip ends. Slide the connector onto the strip end, the beads of solder will be under the metal clip pins. Now use your hot soldering iron to push down on top of each clip pin--it will melt the solder underneath and create a reliable connection. After working with these, I really don't think there could be a reliable solderless solution out there. The strip connection leads are just too unreliable with any type of contact only connection. Save yourself the hassle and plan to solder the connections from the start.

Needed 38.5 ft of cable as per specifications not half the amount - really annoying.
