Purchased for winching a 13K pound, 37’ boat onto the trailer, then holding it in place while being towed. The bolt fits tighter than on some of the cheaper Chinese shackles, and overall quality and finish is good. I’m not sure if I would trust anything, but an American made shackle for stresses approaching its working load rating, but I feel confident in using it for my needs. I will buy this brand again.
