These lobby dust pans LOCK. I don't know why that feature is not touted more in the advertisement but it's certainly a great feature! Others I've tried and returned do not lock, so be forewarned. This is the first one I've seen online that does LOCK. This is absolutely a necessary feature for anyone sweeping. One has to empty the dust pan at some point. When they don't LOCK emptying the dust pan becomes very difficult. Some brands out there do not.Another interesting feature of these dust pans is that they have a bracket with long teeth to clean the broom with. That's the only time I've seen this feature.One thing that might be improved with these dust pans is their nest-ability. They do slide into each other just a little but it's not very much. More would be nice. But overall these dust pans are excellent!
