The move to nobody including user manuals with things isn't a great decision. It leaves me wondering if I'm using it wrong or if I got a defective product. Since it seems really straight forward, I'm assuming I got a defective product.The 20' chain is kinda silly. Unless you're using it from a scaffolding or ladder to lift someone, you're not going to reach the handle at full scope. It lifts well though. In lower, however, it tends to pay out the chain not quite freefall, but also not limited by the ratchetting of the handle. I wouldn't use it to lower something heavy where I wanted good control.

Pulled my garage over to plumb and cross braced. To hold. Worked good
