Like others, I found the switches don't work on automatically turning lights on. The red and green indicator lights show the switches sense when the lights are off and detect motion, but just don't work in automatically turning the lights on. I tried going through the reprogramming routine, and sometimes got them to initially work, but after turning off a while they would not turn back on automatically (despite the indicator (red) light showing motion was detected.Very disappointed as they are good looking switches. Unfortunately I threw the boxes away after installing 2 of the 3 I purchased before finding they didn't work. Will be returning the one in the box I didn't open.

Got kids that "forget to turn off the lights?' Me too! My kids know how to leave things open and turn on everything but seemingly forget to close and turn off EVERYTHING. I got sick of nightly running upstairs to turn off all the lights in the one bathroom so instead I researched switches that auto turn off based on motion. I landed on this switch and set the timer to 15 minutes of inactivity. Im so happy I no longer need drag myself upstairs right before bed to turn off the lights now. No brainer purchase and easy install. Follow the directions.

I was confused at first, when it didn't turn the light on with motion. It keeps the light on with motion, and will turn back on the light if motion is detected within 5 minutes of leaving the room. Perfect for our laundry room.

My mistake - I previously installed 3 of Leviton's motion activated switches with no problem (purchased from Lowes). Found this on Amazon and ASSUMED it was the same thing. They look EXACTLY the same and model number is nearly Identical DVS02 vs DOS02. Tried 4 times to program it to come on when I came into the room. Finally went back and reread the description. MANUAL ON is exactly what I didn't want. But my returns period expired so now I'm stuck with it. :(

The Leviton DVS02-1LW does not work in small spaces I have two bathrooms that the absolutely won't work in two different ambient light profiles one pitch black the other indirect light from a window ... Unfortunately this product does not work no matter what I have researched to do. They do work in test mode but... Anyway don't take my word for it google it... I should have. I use it for the auto off function but will eventually replace them.

No he podido configurarlo, por más que he intentado no funciona como deberÃa. Parece que ya quedó pero al rato nuevamente no enciende con presencia. Siempre lo pruebo de noche, cuando se supone deberÃa funcionar.
