This reel is so good for the money it has amazing quality the sturdiest is unbeatable and it is a light and compact reel I would recommend heavier braid for fishing line but otherwise it almost never backlashes and goes along way before hitting the ground.

The product itself is fine, but the images and descriptions sometimes don't match this. Specifically, a left-handed reel might have a picture of a right-handed reel, or vice versa.

Super smooth and quiet reel. Casts far and minimal backlashing with dialed in brakes. Im using it strictly for a rattletraping rod and ts performing great, has landed a few already but nothing big enough to put the drag system to the test, yet.... Very firm feel as well. No twisting around in your grip when under load like cheaper plastic framed reels. Reel has a much lower profile than comparable baitcasters, very easy to palm, so if you hace huge hands this will feel like a baby baitcaster. For under $60 its a great value and has better feel and smoothness than many of my more expensive reels. Id reccomend this and I wish they had it in more gear ratios, a slower one for cranking would be nice.

Small lightweight and compact. Operates smoothly casts well and retrieves quickly. Breaks work and operate as they should. Pairs perfectly with my daiwa airx d casting rod. Pleased with purchase and would certainly not hesitate to buy another lews baitcaster based off this purchase.

Casts like a dream other than super light stuff. But I bought it for bass anyway so I use it for things like Texas rigs and bladed jigs.Will throw spinners and lighter stuff to you just don't get the same distance.No issues with nesting other than my own newbie mistakes.
