Hands down on great replacement for pipe pressure more circumstances. I have placed a lot of torque on this while removing Plumbing fixtures. And this holds up as good as a pipe wrench. The only downside is they do not sell a replacement spring when it does break you have a limp wrench. I wanted to provide a spring to extend longevity of the piece. Or at least the service to replace it. Totally worth the price for this tool. Especially for DIY wires on people who don't want to have too many tools in the house toolbox.

Over all it does grab(got it for tie rods doing alignments) I just don’t like the adjustment lock tab, it doesn’t always fully seat. Takes some wiggling. And that part feels like it can fail. It hasn’t yet, but I don’t use it often to have it ware out quick.

Don't waste your money. Buy a regular pipe wrench. Couldn't get it to grip.
