Lots of fun and workds great. You'll definitely want to hold the can by the bottom as you twist. And the tab holder took a tone or two to figure out, but really all that does is keeps the lid from falling back into the can. I've used it about 2 dozen times and never had a sharp edge. This is a better way to drink beer.

This little kitchen tool is a fun addition to all of the random devices I have collected for random kitchen tasks. It is super easy to use, and works great! I used it on mini and regular sized soda cans with great ease. It leaves a clean edge that is safe to sip on. No sharp edges, just a cool looking cup for a festive drink or just for fun!

Great novelty gadget. A conversation piece. It works. Cheap BS, but almost worth the plastic.

I ordered the standard black and grey color, but was sent the "ghost" white version instead. The color wasn't a huge deal for me so I decided to keep it, but I would've preferred the one I ordered. This is something that's been on my watch list for a while. Ever since seeing this product for the first time, I've wanted one. When I originally added it to my list, it was more expensive. As the prices came down, it became a bit more attractive. Honestly, I still had a hard time spending the money on a largely unnecessary can opener. That said, I'm glad I did! After reading and executing the instructions, this thing is a little tricky to use. Even after getting the hang of it, it doesn't work perfectly every time. Most of the time though, it works perfectly and leaves no sharp edges.Drinking out of the topless can is strangely pleasurable, especially when it's beer. You get the scent of your beverage without pouring it into a glass, and I believe it enhances the taste. Although some would argue that you don't need this opener and you can just pour it into said glass (true), it's a game changer for sure.Lastly, the day after I received the Draft Top LIFT, I was heading to a party. My wife suggested taking this with us, and it was an absolute hit! Everybody at the party was interested in this gadget. I got plenty of practice as I found myself opening everyone's cans throughout the party. It worked on everything from the kids soda to the adult beer and seltzer. I'm sure I sold a few of these for Draft Top.Summary: Do you need it? No. Should you buy one? Yes! Just do it!

Nice little gadget that makes drinking a beer or soda easier. Can be a bit tricky to use but it works with some spillage sometimes. BUT, here's something to consider, leaves a very sharp edge on the can! Very easy to cut your lip or finger. In my opinion, I would not get this for children or elderly people. And this is a review based on actual usage, not unused show and tell paid reviews that have become so common here on Amazon. ***UPDATE*** (August 15, 2024) Thought I would add an update on this review. Turns out I was really cranking down and turning the can so many times it was taking the complete top off rim included. If you just turn it a few times till you hear a click, it just removes the top lid and leaves the rim on. But still, leaves a little jagged edge on the rim that could cut or stick someone. Much nicer with the rim on but still, I don't recommend this for children or elderly with delicate skin.

Works as intended far cleaner than trying to use any can opener and way easier. However, mind you my situation is not typical due to my condition, I do find it bit difficult to squeeze the tool. Ideally you could squeeze once and it would stay clamped down as you twist the top off without continued applied pressure. I find any twisting of the wrists a difficult motion, especially on repeat. It is a 100% marked improvement to any other method I've tries before and most would not be using it more than once at a time so for literally 99.9% of people with normal wrists this probably isn't a problem at all. I'm using mine for an art project and this will definitely save me time and energy since I need to flatten a lot of cans (if only it could remove the bottom too), but I can only really do 3 at a time before I risk injuring myself. I've removed about 10 tops so far give or take and it still seems sharp so far. The tops do fall into the can every now and again, but my cans are empty and sometimes it isn't a perfect ring so it leaves a little metal curl which could be dangerous if you're not paying attention. That could be just the way I'm holding it and user error. I may update later after a certain number of cans if i reach a point it needs to be replaced with a new blade.T.L.D.R.Much cleaner than a can opener, easier than a can opener, if you have weak wrists like me be careful. Recommend this so far.

I purchased this product out of curiosity. What I found was it worked as advertised and cleanly removed the top of the can (be it beer or soft drinks) that allowed me to add a lime without forcing it down the small opening under the pull tab. 100% safe and way more comfortable drinking with the lid removed.

If you have struggled to drink from a can and always find a little bit of the liquid stays behind, then this can opener is for you. Just pull the tab as you would do and then place the opener on the top of the can, turn the can 360°, and like magic, the cap is completely removed, leaving you a can you can drink from without any sharp edges. Recycling is unchanged simply dispose of both parts in the bin for recycling.
