The fan works great. It's portable/compactable, a good size for a small/ medium sized room, although it's big enough to keep air flowing in a larger room. My main living area is a large sized room and if I set it up as tall as it will go and put it on oscillate I can feel a good breeze on the opposite side from the fan. Right now it's cold out, so I'm using it to better distribute the heat around my living room/ kitchen and it's keeping the heat off the ceiling and the temp up a few degrees. I have no doubt it will do the same in the summer with my air conditioning. You can move the fan head °180 so you can point the head directly at the ceiling to move the air around and it makes a big difference. I've never had a fan that has a head that will point forward, up and backwards. It's pretty cool. Oscillation works great. It has 4 speeds, 1-low, 2- medium, 3- high and 4- natural wind. In that setting it cycles between low and medium. It's suppose to feel like a real breeze. It's great for sleeping. In fact the remote has a nighttime function which appears to just be setting #4- natural wind. It has a remote that works surprisingly well. You can use it about 13ft from the fan. My only issue with this fan is that there is a timer built in, however there are no buttons on the fan to set the timer. You have to use the remote, so if you lose the remote you lose an entire selling point. No remote? No timer setting for you.So I guess you'll have to add a little holder on the fan and always put the remote there?. Duct tape anyone? You can take the cage off the head to clean the blades of the fan. It almost makes up for the timer situation. I like this foldable fan alot regardless of the remote/timer situation. Love the fact that you can store it anywhere when your not using it and it works the way it should. 5 stars.

Boy, is thing handy! Lightweight & can be moved from room to room easily. Love the remote. Perfect when youre on the treadmill. This is not a large, forceful flow that moves paper on tables or ruins your hairstyle. Yes, it has a cooling effect if youre in a room that is somewhat cool. It is not an air conditioner. It moves the air around the room. I love that you can change the height of the fan to accommodate your needs. I took away a star because of the noise it makes. It is rather loud for a smaller fan and there is a difference in the noise level when you have it plugged in and when youre relying on a charge to operate. Plugged in is not as loud as using battery power. But, the noise level is not as loud reason to not purchase it, i believe. Its just notable.

Nice portable fan, small enough to move around the house wherever you need it but powerful enough to get the air moving. Not too much noise from the fan, you can still havea conversation with it in the room. The remote is really convenient but I wish there was a dedicated spot on the base that could hold the remote so you don't loose it. Battery life is good so far. It did make a high pitched noise the first time I plugged it in but it went away after a minute or so of charging and has not returned since. Overall I'm happy with this fan and use it almost daily.

We have a fan which was supposed to be smaller in diameter (8†vs 9â€) which we use in all of our camping trips. We use it in the van and like its functionality and wanted to get one for the larger tent and canopy.Unfortunately, this fan has the same size/diameter blades, only thinner and more of them. The noise level is much higher with this fan, irrespective of the speed. Most likely caused by a noisy motor because it is almost at the same decibel level and frequency.In addition, the lock which keeps it upright when pulled to 90 degrees has a strong spring (I guess) because it is very hard to pull on it to allow one to fold it down for transport. It locks and keeps it secure in the upright position, but being so hard to pull it might break when one attempts too hard. And if it breaks, the fan is almost unusable. Cleaning is possible, see manual, and as for the remote, we’ll Velcro it to the side so we won’t lose it and have it handy.

The fan is pretty strong at level 3. It charges quick and can maneuver wherever it's needed. The fan has a sleep option and also oscillates. It stands pretty high and fits almost everywhere. Great little fan to use just about anywhere.
