I’m not a pro mechanic so keep that in mind. But I have had good luck with Lisle tools so I got these instead of the off brand set. So far they are doing the job and I don’t see why they won’t last a lifetime for me. Would have been great to have them come with a case for how I store tools, but that wasn’t worth twice the price for the larger set to me.

Love everything about it! Use it with a hammer or a .401 shank air chisel. Either way, it works great and is very durable

Long overdue purchase. Love the dual use design of manual vs pneumatic hammering. Buying this set, I thought I got my bases covered in terms of side of ball joints these handle. Unfortunately I was wrong. The very first ball joint I got to use them on was too big for largest fork in this set. By no means is this a problem of the set. I eyeballed them and made an assumption. I have since bought next sized fork to complement the set and should probably get the fifth size as well.

Great tool at a fantastic price, very durable. Last one I bought was 20 years ago

I have not used the set much, but when I do it puts any other pickle fork I have to shame. The groved portions really help with keeping the head from popping out, and the interchangeable handle-air ram are a definite game changer. Most recently discovered using no handle at all allows for a ton more room to swing a hamer in confined spaces.

Good universal ball stud removal tool. Works well in tight conditions where other types of presses won't work. I used it on 2011 Ford Fusion lower control arm studs. Worked great on left side; but, the right side had less clearance for the tool due to subtle dimensional differences in the knuckle forging. It didn't work as well.

This is the second set I've owned. First set lasted 15 years. You can beat the fork with a hammer or use your air hammer

I needed a fork small enough for atv tie rods and this was perfect. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and this tool feels very good in the hand. I would recommend this set for almost any application just use common sense as you would probably need something a bit more substantial for a 3500 series pick-up.

Used this to separate some pretty rusted balljoints and it did pretty well. The stepped fork is pretty useful if you cannot get the joint separated in one go. I was dealing with some pretty crusty suspension and I was using this with the airhammer for at least 15 minutes on and off to try and get things apart, and the forks held up well to the demands. Not sure where it is made, it does not have any country stamping on the actual parts and the packaging does not say. Generally though, I'd say this is a quality tool.
