Terminal tools work on conventional terminals as well as Pack-Con and Weather-Pack terminals found on many GM vehicles. New blue terminal tool fits many Ford applications. The handle slips over the probes to protect the technician's hand as well as to provide extra leverage.

Really like that they come in a case to protect them as well as keep them all together. They all work great and I would recommend them to anyone.

Familiarize yourself with the tools, choose the correct one to do the job you need. They work well just be patient with them. I would recommend getting a set to anyone that tinkers with pin and slot connections.

I originally purchased these as individual tools back 20 years ago when that was the only way you could get them. These new versions are of a slightly lighter weight material, so I fear that maybe they won’t last as long. The kit is a nice way to keep all 3 tools in one place. I do like the addition of the handle. Save on poking your hand with the prongs of the tool.Good value for necessary tools if you work on multi-conductor automotive connectors.

This wire terminal removal tool is built for the apocalypse for sure. I've already used mine to the point that the wire removal probes are getting shiny. It has a good heart to it and I made a quick retractable belt clip so I'll have it when I need it. It's made good too. I've sjt on it a dozen or so times and still haven't bent any of the extraction probes. Great little tool. I happy with it performance and it came at a great price.

Have a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T. Broke a clip on a plug connector on the high pressure fuel pump and was so frustrated that I would have to take it to my mechanic. A few YouTube videos later and I found this kit. Worth every penny. I used the blue tool and inserted the small tweezers like one into the plug, heard a click, and pulled the wire right out of the connector. Picked up a new connector from Audi dealer and swapped it out in 5 minutes. Remember to take a picture of your wire order or do one at a time. Quality is more than adequate for a weekend do it yourself-er. If I was a full-time mechanic, this set would probably let me down at some point. Will work with VW/Volkswagen/Audi.

Trying to undo the plugs in a 53 year old truck, I got these to help get the wiring apart. Ease of use was great. Value was decent. Sturdiness? I bent a good portion of them. Maybe newer cars are easier to get the harness wiring apart, but old cars with old wiring. This tool was no match on got destroyed. Im looking at a different style for the next project. One with each release tool having its own handle instead of 6 ends on each handle. That way if I break one, or multiple, I won't have a tool that is half useless. Most Lisle tools I really like the quality. They are my go to for a lot of specialty tools. This isn't one I can recommend though.

Bought this terminal tool kit to replace the cheap asian crimp connector tool set I bought on Amazon. This Lisle tool set is worth every penny in saved aggravation, lost time and damaged crimps as compared to using the cheap import tools made of thin stamped metal and vapor thin tubes. This Lisle tool set just works, does what it is supposed to do very well, has full manufacturer warranty, feel good in your hands, has a nice blow-molded storage case and did I say it works, really well? Buy this tool and forget those cheap imports crimp removal tools that are sold with several duplicates, bad quality metal with no warranty -they just don't work.

So if you are looking for a tool to remove the connectors in your VW I can confirm that this does the job on a mk 3 golf rear light connector block. You know the one that goes rusty and the lights then suffer earth leak and turning on the indicators flashes the entire rear light clusters. It may say ford but it does work for VW golfs. Next job climb on the engine and see if it works on the lambda connector leads that have broken.

Having been looking for some terminal wire removers for a while, I finally found these. They perform the task for my specific plugs perfectly. For the price and quality you can't go past these, they're not all that expensive comparatively.Would definitely purchase again if needed.
