I work at a Chevy dealership and the factory tool was a pain to use, so most of the time I used zip ties to limited success. After purchasing this tool I can do all the stretch belts for LT and LS engines with ease. You do need to persuade the belt with a pry bar at the very end to keep it in the grooves

The fact I needed to buy a special tool to change the belt is insane to me. But since I did this thing did its job well. Its very thick and sturdy so it seems like it will hold up well. It slipped right on and fit like it was supposed to and the belt went on easy.

I'm a GM tech and the OEM tool is a dumb two piece design that has to be tightened onto the crank and falls off about half the time. It legitimately blows my mind that Lisle makes this tool and not GM's OE tool provider. The design great. It goes on the crank, you turn the crank and bam you got a new belt.

I used to use a 1 inch C-clamp before I found this. Ridiculously quick and easy to use. Best money I spent. Saves a lot of time at the shop.
