About EVA Material and Smell
Our litter mat is made of EVA material. This material is washable, waterproof, and non-toxic. It is safe and pet-friendly.
If there is any odor when you extract from the package, please don't worry. It is a normal phenomenon after long transportation. because it’s made of EVA material.
Tips: Eliminate Peculiar Smell
There are some suggestions that you could rinse it and put it outside, or use a hairdryer and put it in a ventilated place for a few hours to days, the smell will disappear.

Our litter trapping mat is soft and safe for your cat's paws and it is comfortable for them to step on. The top layer captures litter from the cat's paws.
1-Side Connected-Easy to Clean
The cat mat is just one side connected, It is easily lifted off the top layer. The litter trapping mat can be easily vacuumed or swept out to remove any trapped litter, and any spills or accidents can be quickly wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Design for Messy Cat-Puppy Pad Option
For really messy cats, a litter mat can be placed with a standard puppy pad between the double layers. It can be added puppy pads under the top layer for added protection.
For cats who sometimes miss the litter box, adding a puppy pad to the litter trap helps, as they can soak excessive urine and absorb liquids. It is easy to handle in the event of an accident.
Keep the Area Cleaner
The double-layer design works great to capture cat litter and does an excellent job of trapping litter and urine. The waterproof backing keeps any mess from seeping through and keeps cat litter from getting all over the place. It saves your floors from getting scratched.
Tips
How to solve the folds?
1.put some weights on the folds(raised side) for a few days
2.using a hairdryer to heat the folds would be better.

WOW!! These mats are extra thick & work purrfectly!! No litter on my floor & that's it miracle since I have 2 very messy kitties!! I just vacuum up what litter is on/in the mats & that is not often!! It says to put something heavy on them for 2 days to flatten as they came folded up but it wasn't necessary!! My problem is that one of my cats thinks it's to potty on!! I had to buy cat urine odor remover (Pooph) lol 😆

I bought this to help with litter tracking. Unfortunately, I have a cat that likes to pee on it. It's easy to place a pee pad to help eliminate the liquid problem, but unfortunately the smell stays. I have tried several urine eliminators and extended soaking, but the plastic still has a funk to it. I love how the pee pads fit in it and how easy it is to clean (aside from the odor that remains).

We have three cats...jumping in and out of the litter box, leaving litter all over the floor.We've had rugs on the floor, but you still walk over the tiny litter pieces. These mats seemto capture the tiny pieces well. It seems to help keep it contained pretty well. We have ordereda couple now. The design makes it easy to dump.

This mat comes rolled/folded so you do have to put heavy books, etc. on it at first to flatten it out. But once flat, it stays that way and traps litter spray nicely. Kitty wasn't sure about it at first, but got used to it after the first day.The mat is fixed at one of the short sides, with the other 3 sides open. Rather than pick the whole thing up to dump the under-layer in the trash can, we just peel back the top "honeycomb" layer and run the hand vac over the bottom. Takes about 5 seconds and keeps the bathroom litter box area clean. Great solution to the litter spray problem!

J'ai le tapis de 90x61cm depuis un an, et mon Maine Coon et moi en sommes très satisfait !Le tapis retient très bien la majorité de la litière, et il réduit considérablement la quantité de grains de litière (j'utilise une litière naturelle de bois, agglomérante) que mon chat disperse chez moi.Le fait que le côté "grillagé" ne soit cousu que sur un côté rend le nettoyage du tapis très facile, autant au quotidien pour le vider dans le bac à litière ou l'aspirer, qu'au long cours pour son entretien (comme il s'ouvre totalement on peut facilement nettoyer et brosser la partie du dessous).Néanmoins quand mon chat sort de sa litière en sautant, il arrive quand même à répandre un peu de litière en dehors du tapis. S'il était plus grand il serait encore plus efficace.À noter que mon chat aime particulièrement faire ses griffes dessus, ce qui pourrait le rendre inutilisable avec le temps. Mais même après un an, il reste visuellement en très bon état, et est toujours fonctionnel !En revanche, je trouve que les tapis de plus petite taille plus petites sont peu utiles, car ils ne retiennent pas grand chose. Lorsque le chat sort de sa litière, il en met quand même à coté (surtout s'il est à poils longs, et qu'il sort en sautant d'un bac à litière ouvert)

Wir haben auf bilogisches Katzenstreu - also so eine Art kleine Holzpellets - umgestellt und damit das Haus nicht täglich wie ein Sägewerk aussieht, leisten diese Matten hervorragende Arbeit. Die Wabenstruktur ist groß genug um die kleinen Pellets beim heraussteigen der Katzen aufzunehmen und man nimmt danach die Matte und schüttelt einfach alles wieder in die Katzentoilette retour.Die Befestigung der beiden Mattenhälften mit den Druckknöpfen finde ich auch sehr gut und dadurch dass sie aufklappbar sind, können sie auch - falls mal etwas "passiert" gut gereinigt werden. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

La litière reste bien emprisonnée dans ce tapis mais faire attention à l'épaisseur si vous marchez dessus, il pourrait vous enfarger.
