Nice auto waterer. We had to build a box to mount ours in (goats kept climbing on it & we were afraid it would get broken.

I bought this for my chicken coop. Installation was straightforward. It functions as expected. No problem whatsoever. The girls adjusted to it easily.The only (not insignificant) problem is that because they don’t move a ton of water (not like a horse or other large animal) the water tends to collect a lot of sediment and can get brackish.Every few days I go out and scoop the dirty water out so that it will refill with clean water. Not super happy about that.However, it does allow me to leave for a long vacation and not worry about finding someone to refill their water.Will see how it does in winter and figure out how to keep it from freezing on the top layer of water.Overall happy with this item.

The product itself is great. However, the use of plastic attachments for the hose allow for too much leakage therefore Abel to leave the water on which defeats the purpose of the automatic water.

I hope this waterer lasts longer and works better than the last ones (different brand) I bought. The one we have installed is working great. No leaks! Float doesn't stick. Problem: the box had been opened and the mounting plate was missing along with the 2 neoprene washers. The other 2, which just arrived, are complete. We will install them soon.

Great for our dogs and chickens, the only thing to make product better would be a drain plug. I bought and installed a brass drain plug. And make sure you run water through line first before connecting to clear out debris in line or it will plug up waterer.

Installation instructions are crystal clear. Depending on how you want to install there are different sets of instructions. I installed this for my dogs and they have no problems drinking from it. There are many other brands on Amazon but the Little Giant is durable and dependable.
