Purchased to make sure my dogs had access to water while they were outside. the design is straight forward and well made. I was concerned that it might scare them when it started filling but the mechanism is very quiet and I have had no problems with leaks or overfilling. Highly recommended!

Bought it replace our old wore out chicken waterer and installed it this morning. Easy to adjust water level.

The unit has no water hose connection all water hoses are 3/4 inch and the bowel connection is only 1/2 inch .... had to go out and rig up a connection to make it work

There is no simple way to.just plug this to a waterhose you need an advanced plubing degree to do that

Hard to mount using holes inside the water trough. It is hard to get level but it works good. I have been using this sand waterer almost 2 years now and it has worked just fine. I wish they sold replacement hoses since my goats chewed it even though it's metal. It looks like a washing machine hose so I'm going to try that to see if it fits.

I have not hooked it up yet because the included hose will not fit on an outside water faucet. It is smaller than I anticipated and will not sit flat on the ground. It must be mounted.
