This has been fantastic, detects direction of light, modulated signal, 1K, 2K, and 270hz. Power meter is as accurate as the high dollar identifiers. strength. I also have the older model which is still working after 4 years of almost daily use. I like the new one even better. Highly recommend

The device worked as expected at half the price of many alternatives. The instructions were brief, poorly written, and left a lot of questions. It apparently has a toning capability that is only mentioned one time, but absolutely no instructions on what device it needs to be coupled with to take advantage of such features.

Good so far. It is kind of big. So it's not always easy to get it positioned to take a reading. Especially if the fibers are short or someone has done a poor job of putting the case and tray or together.
