The suction isn't the best, but it does the job non the less. I use it to place a medium size chip on a board, it did the job, couldn't get it to work on very small ICs, I don't think any other could have either.

Unfortunately these are crap! Only holds suction for a few seconds. Back to tweezers…

These vacuum tweezers are pretty low quality. After 15 times use the button usually depresses so far into the pen that it doesn't return and is stuck all the way depressed. This happened on all three tweezers.

It’s cheap for a reason. Don’t waste your money. It doesn’t work at all

These are great for the price. They are cheap but that's the reason you get 3. They all work on different size chips. They do have good suction when you use them right. I purchased these to convert them into a powered suctioned chip puller. You take one of these, put a hole in at the bottom. Add a 4mm silicone tube inside at the bottom, seal it and then connect the other end to a 5-6V DC mini suction air pump. { NOTE: or 12V) ** Depending on if you want to use a USB wall plug or build you own power supply. I prefer USB 5V 1A is all you need. Dollar Tree sells these for $1.25 } ** The button on the suction tool acts as a air disconnect. So when you go to grab the chip you already have suction or press the button and apply an even pressure onto the chip to pick it up. You press the button to release the chip. I was able to pick up a GPU die with no problem using the large suction cup provided. Even the small suction cup worked great on DDR 4 chips. You can remove the button and just put a small hole if you would like. That's why its DIY be creative.
