The application is straight into the engine block - no upper tube necessary. The dipstick seals at bottom of the handle with double O-rings. The Billet aluminum handle has been designed to coordinate with the Lokar Flexible Transmission Dipstick.

Could be a good product. After 1st oil change the hose came out of the fitting. For this price this shouldn't have happened.
