how to make the screen less bright-on the back of the board is a labeled resistor "R2". the resistor itself says 330 on it. it is 33 ohm (not 330). remove it with a soldering iron. replace with and higher ohm resistor. not lower (damage due to current if you do). the higher the ohm you put in, the dimmer. can use standard 1/4 resistors. then dab hot glue after for stability. shown is a few brightness levels for you including no backlight at all. 330 ohm was best for me, both readable and dark enough to not bother.

Product is well made and working as expected. You have to be little bit intuitive with menu and functions as the manual is written in broken English.(https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71s7Wp+yyBL.pdf )Everything so far working as expected with accurate voltage reading and cut offs.Problems1. It would have been a better design if there is delay on lower voltage cut off. Instead of turning off instantly at lower cut of voltage may be few second delay would have been better. Sometime loads draw large currents and battery voltage drops instantly. A delay may save the day!2. Startup delay function is not working! Regardless whatever I tried 001-999 start up is instant.3. I also could not turn off the display4. Electrolytic capacitors likely fail within an year as it does not appear good quality.Goods1.well made with great connectors and display2. It functions as it should for most part , I only tested for discharging function.

Tiny little circuit board with switches allowing you to set voltage so you don’t overcharge batteries. Settings can be adjusted to either charge to a specified voltage or bleed power off until a desired lower voltage is attained.Buttons, and the order in which you configure the settings, is a little confusing and no instructions were included with the package, but they are available as a pdf on the item’s product page along with examples of how to set up for various options.

Installed this in my shed along with a solar setup and deep cycle battery. After about a month, the disconnect no longer reads the Vin correctly and gets stuck on the voltage at the time of connecting it. Disconnecting reconnecting doesn't work and I know the correct voltage bc I also have a charge controller that is reading properly. Instructions are not intuitive. Took a while to get familiar with the different modes and this is in the proper mode to shut off downstream inverter when battery voltage

Nice, sturdy relay & cool LCD screen. Planning to use to charge E-bike battery.

Product seems to work well but is hard to mount. The wire lugs should be bigger and mounted better. They twist a lot when tightening the screws.Update,After 1 day the device no longer is switching on. Programming works, display is working but no power is being sent. I will be returning this and looking for a different solution.

The product was delivered very quickly by Amazon. After ready thru the info on the IcStation website, the installation went relatively easy. Very happy with the product.

With no load, this device draws only 10mA at any voltage I've tried, so I'm not worried about it draining my battery—that would take months. My concern is that 30 amp rating. The relay may be rated 30A, but the solder tracks get as narrow as 7mm, which is inadequate for anywhere near that current. The width of the terminals are ¼", with about an M2 screw (which I think is about #4 in legacy units, but I've never really understood those). To carry 30A, you'd want at least 10 AWG cable (ideally more like 8 AWG), thus yellow fork crimps. But I haven't been able to find ¼" fork crimps in yellow/10 AWG anywhere (Amazon, Mouser, NAPA Auto, eBay), probably because that size fork has much less capacity than 10 AWG wire. So I definitely won't be using this for 30 amps, and I'll be testing how hot those tracks get with even 20 amps running through them. If they get dangerously hot or cause a noticeable voltage drop, I'll either solder wire parallel to the tracks, or send this item back.
