The tool I received had decent welds, not perfect, but it in no way impacted the use of the tool. I put more force than was needed into the operation just to be sure it wouldn't bend or break, and it passed the test no problem. This is a much better and safer way to pry on control arms than using a conventional bar. I like it, and would buy another if I lost mine.

The tool does what it says, but out of the box, the 2 welded arms were crooked. This doesn't affect performance but does say a lot about quality control. The ½ breaker bar holes fit very well on my tool with no slippage. Would recommend having around if control arms are your thing at work.

This is one of those single purpose tools that I used to be against buying. But I also used to work so hard to complete what should have been a simple repair. This is so convenient to realign ball joints and help pop the control arm into position. I think for the cost and time saved even if used infrequently, it is worth having! The construction feels solid. The 1/2 drive holes a little loose but not concerning at all. The detrwnt ball in my square drive doesn't quite hold it in place loose. Finish is nice and surprisingly durable.

The welding on the rods is kind of messy (they could have been ground down for a nicer look), but seems to still hold the rods on the arm well enough to create the torque needed for moving the control arm. Little bit tight in the 1/2" drive cutouts, but with time and wear, can go in smoother I would think. Metal is not the highest quality, but it can get the job done. Overall, does what's necessary.. just not a very polished product overall.

This Lower Control Arm Prying Tool, Suspension Specialty Arm Lever Bushing Tool, Lower Ball Joint Pry, Control Arm Tool Suspension Arm Lever Compatible with 1/2" Drive Extension Breaker Bar is nice. This is a nice Lower Control Arm Prying Tool. This is a Compatible with 1/2" Drive Extension or 1/2" Breaker Bar. This is a small unit. That grabs the lower control arm. So you can pull the lower control arm down to replace the lower ball joints. This is small and easy to use. I have a big bully type bar I use for this job. It takes up a lot of space to just store it. Smaller is better for me that does the same job.
