Bulbs work great. Just wish I could say the same about the old ballast. I had to replace it before new bulb would light. I’ve purchased several of these and on average they last 2 years which is 100% longer than the recommended change interval. The new ballast has smart technology that indicates when the bulb is working burned out or when the ballast is fried So that’s helpful.Helpful Hint: DO NOT TOUCH BULB GLASS WITH FINGERS AS THIS WILL CAUSE EARLY BURN OUT. clean with high strength Isopropyl Alcohol if accidentally touched.

I purchased two bio lights. They arrived together in a box inside separate cardboard tube's. One tube had prime tape around a section of it . It apparently had been bent. Upon opening the tube I found the light inside wax shattered. Not happy at all!!!

This bulb wasn't what I needed so I did have to return it however, the bulb was in perfect condition and had it been what I needed it would have been a perfect purchase. Vendor was easy to work with and gave refund very promptly!

Other than the fact that this manufacturer produces different length bulbs, as not all housings are created equal, this was a fail. The connection is fine and while the bulb lit immediately, it only stays on completely without flicker for a few seconds at a time. I have reversed the 4pin which should not matter, as this only goes in a specific way, but that too should not matter. I'll give it a few hours, but this will be returned, as I do not expect the flickering to stop I use UV lights in very expensive chemistry equipment, simply put this isn't how a UV bulb should behave. It's either on or off.Unfortunately, many of my other options come from the same manufacturer. Packaging was solid, I think from what I can tell, so for such a fragile product, that's why my 2 stars instead of 1, but honestly, it could have been damaged in transit as well, of course.

Works fine! Be sure you specify tube length, though: I had to send one back because it was too long, despite having the correct label.
