I purchased this to fix a tie rod bolt that had busted threads on it, worked as intend and was able to save it and save myself $200 dollars. Great tool attachment that’s a must have in case of emergencies like mine!

The Luckyway 3/16"-1" Deburring External Chamfer Tool with Tungsten Carbide Blades works well for chamfering sawed off bolt ends. It removes the jagged edges and leaves a much nicer finished bolt tip.I also like to use this tool on bicycle handlebars when installing grips or components. Kids bikes often get dropped on the edge of the bars, leaving a sharp and burred handlebar end. This tool dresses the bar end nicely.

Fantastic quality tool. Came in a great storage tube. Worked perfectly. I need a little more capacity going to see if they have other products.

So this seems to work reasonably well. I tested it on some 3/8" threaded rod, wnd it did pretty good job. I'm debating between giving this three or four stars, in part because though it works well, the quality control on the finish is terrible. Mine came with something stuck to it into the paint, the labeling was so misplaced it was difficult to read. When something has a bad fit and finish, it makes me question the entire construction of the product. So this works, but I'm curious how long.

Pop it in a drill light pressure and perfectly deburred.

The chamfer makes starting threading much easier. It is centered and edge damaged threads are gone.

First time using one of these, so user error might just be the reason why this process was so slow. I used one of my less powerful 20v drills to grind the bolt down. If I tried to speed up the drill, it would just ricochet off. It was about 2 minutes of effort between my before photo and after use photo.

I've had a couple projects recently that involved cutting aluminum balusters, but the cuts left sharp edges that I wanted to clean up. This deburring bit cut through the edges... not quite like butter, but took them off still pretty easily. I could handle the edges without feeling any snags from bits of metal, so a tool well applied in my book.
