This NVMe adapter may work with certain older Macs (MacBooks), however, it wasn't recognized by my (temperamental) older MacPro 6,1 (late 2013). The NVMe M.2 SSD that was to be mounted via this unit was never recognized by my system (Mac OS Sonoma), although the proper EFI was exposed. Depending on make, model, OS, YMMV. Hoped this'd work ... it didn't.
