It works great outside inside and all of the gels are really fun for creative photography. I love the product and would buy it again if necessary and definitely would recommend it to a friend. I have experimented with different diffusing options for a speedlite and this is the latest thing to test. I'm not sure about whether this is the ultimate solution or what, but thus far I like the variability in being able to control light.The MagMod system is very nice for quick changes. Where other light modifying system would take a couple minutes to set up, as long as you have the adapter on the light, it literally takes seconds to add something. It's nice that these are soft silicone so they can be deformed and abused, but still pop back into shape.I like this. It works well with my Canon 600EX-RT Speedlites

I shot a family barn wedding with wedding photos shot outside in the shade and inside reception in a very dark facility. I was not the hired photographer. However, the shots were totally amazing, lighting up faces, preserving fabric colors, textures and flesh tones. It’s my new go to for flash photography. Attached it to my 10-year old Canon 430 flash.

Very handy system, however it is VERY tough to get onto a round head flash. I've hurt my fingers a few times getting in on. If you're not strong, this might be too much for your V1.

Update: They sent me a replacemnt.It is great to see they follow up with reviews and make sure their products work well.I changed the rating from 1 to 5.-------------------------Gel magnet comes off.One of the magnets from a gell came off and now it is not usable.I am happy with the less of the MagMod producss but the gel magnets need to be more secure so it does not fall off.

Thought I would give these a go after watching many YouTube videos. Great for on the go or at home if you don’t have room for big modifiers. Putting the initial grip onto light takes some strength but once on it’s solid. All the magnets are very strong. Would recommend. Expensive so I’m building my kit a bit at a time

Pulled the trigger on this kit after watching many videos. Sadly the silicone on the Magbounce 2 ripped at the magnet point before I even got to use it. Magnet is soooo strong and yet the contact point on the silicone is soooo thin and just stretches like crazy trying to remove it. For the price I expect industrial grade for professional usage. I have read so many reviews now after the fact of this defect. Generous 2 stars as the rest of the kit was great, but will be reluctantly returning the whole kit. I have other Magmod products so this was very disappointing.
