This thing is small but has a loud voice. It worked as advertised and love the antenna so I can pull in all my favorite stations. The cd player played store bought cd's perfectly but my old cd's that I copied from others would not. Probably an old format. Not crazy about the side controls and wish they were in front or on top but not a deal breaker. Nice and portable to take anywhere.

It’s very portable, small and cute. Good sound . Easy to use simple controls. I use it to play custom CD’s on it from Name Your Tune personalized CDs for my baby granddaughter. I am happy with this product.

I loved this boombox because it was so easy to use, gave a loud sound for such a small box, and it played my home-made CD's just fine. However, it only lasted 1-1/2 years. It broke. I could hear something rattle inside. Also, the radio must have a weak signal. Couldn't hear most channels. I am buying another one because I'm low income and I can't afford more expensive models. I hope this one will last longer.

This is definitely a CD player (and theoretically a radio, but I'm not using it for that). It's compact and looks fine. It plays audio CDs (but as far as I can tell, does not play MP3 CDs or anything). It has the worst speakers this side of the Dollar Tree. Muffled and somehow at the same time tinny. I can only describe it as "If I had to listen to music through these, I would hate music."thankfully I'm just using it to play lullabies for my kid at night and he doesn't seem to mind.I haven't tried the radio. I imagine it would have the same sound issues and the station uses a dial on the side with the number pressed into the dial so it seems kind of... difficult to tune but again, I haven't tried it since I don't need it... but if you need a radio I would recommend spending an extra three fiddy and getting something that shows the station on some kind of display... or at least a station BAR and not this dial. It has a little LED display but it only shows CD track numbers or the word "NO" when there's nothing loaded.Additionally there is no line out jack, so you can't connect it to better speakers.There IS a line-in jack if you have another device you want to play through this to punish yourself.Honestly, this is a music machine and it can only be used to listen to music poorly. Save your allowance, wait a week or two and get something better.

Just got this, tried it out right away. CD's played just fine. I don't know how long it will work well,but now it's fine. Bought it to take on road trips since the car doesn't have a CD player. Miss my CD player and BOSE system. At least now I can take my CD's on my road trips.I prefer to buy items in person and couldn't find one in stores. It's much smaller than I expected. Compact.

I have owned a few of these. I purchased one for my Dad, for myself and for another realitive. The CD player works great, and can play continously for days on end (if you wish that). It is light weight and looks good. We tend to not use the radio, but when the power was out for several days in the wake of a natural disaster, it was nice to have the radio to hear the news going on around us.

This is a great CD player / radio and reasonably priced. Listed as a boombox, but it's a nice size. Good sound quality. I liked this Magnavox CD player/radio so much, I bought a second one.

It was a bit smaller than anticipated and had no tone dial, but the al the functions worked, AM/FM radio and CD player, and volume control.
