Two performance books can be awkward to juggle, while watching the director, and following the music.Just put the books in a folder they say. But when the books slide out of their pocket , during a performance, it leaves one lip syncing in italian... very awkward.Manhasset understands professional performance standards, and reached for the bar, which only they could set.The multiple black elastic straps hold my books securely in place. There are enough straps to put more than one per book. (I was able to place straps between movements, very helpful)The handle on the spine of the folder is angled perfectly, making the handling of the music during the performance easily managed.A minor complaint is that the folder appears to be more like an inexpensive black notebook rather than a high end music folder. I am not saying it wasn't a good value, because it was a good value! Just would have paid a bit more for a nicer finish.I have already purchased one as a gift, and will be purchasing another one for another group I perform with.

Purchased this for my choral music. Sturdy. Love the extra handle that make holding it while singing much easier. Had a long concert and there were not enough bands to secure all of my music.. But the extra pockets helped with that. Was able to place some extra music there and use it when needed. Really has lots of room for me.

I bought this folder to replace a choral folder that was among items stolen from my car during a break-in. It’s a very durable folder, but not quite as helpful to me as my former folder. The plastic hand strap is located on the spine of the folder, and can be a little uncomfortable depending on the angle at which you’re used to holding the folder. My former folder had a narrow, black nylon band that was located lower down on the folder and attached to the front and back covers. When your hand was inserted, the angle was more comfortable to hold. Two other small flaws with this folder are that there is no pencil holder and not enough elastics. There are roomy pockets inside each cover, but my former folder had a pencil slot at the top edge of the front cover - a very convenient place for quickly grabbing your pencil to mark music. This folder only has 7 elastic bands to hold music, and my former folder had 12. This is a slight nuisance, as it may require you to swap out music at intermission if you have a long program to sing. Overall, it’s a quality folder...I just miss the features of my former folder.

I joined the St Louis Symphony Chorus nine months ago and realized, at the last minute, that I hadn’t gotten a choral folder! I scoured the web and finally came across this product. Definite value for the month—sturdy, and has the elastic straps along the inside of the spine to hold your place throughout the music. The only complaint I have is with the hand strap along the outside of the folder’s spine. It’s a clear plastic strap and got quite uncomfortable after using for an extended period of time. The strap makes the top of your hand sweaty and doesn’t feel very good.Aside from the strap, this was the perfect solution for what I needed.

This is a great product. The pockets are wide and fit a lot of music and the strings in the binding are very helpful for performances. The hand strap, however, is not black as it is indicated as being in the photo. The hand strap is actually clear plastic and thicker than it appears in the picture. It is functional though. Also there is already a small tear on the edge of the folder. Otherwise the folder is everything that I was looking for.

I need a binder for my choir concert. My book was small but this binder held it perfectly centered. Great purchase. I will use it all the time.

It would have been easier if it had a band to keep it open a certain amount, but it’s the perfect basic choral folder. There’s no pencil holder, but the hand grip is great. Basic but great.

Purchased for my adult church choir. I wanted to keep it under $10 each (difficult, I know). They arrived in good shape but the plastic covering of at least one was tearing after a couple of weeks. The hand strap is just elastic - not very strong. The plastic pockets don't seem like they will last too long. I think my next folder purchase will be another brand/model.

Very, very useful little folder, came in handy for my concert. Enjoyed concert much more now that I don't have to worry about dropping everything in the middle and having to reorganize my scores. Folder is made of plastic which smelled a bit like Barbie's dream pool at first, but went away quickly after I aired it out for an hour or so. Wish it it had a few more strings but another character gave me a spare which was easy to add, just wrap it around the metal hooks at top and bottom of folder. Highly recommend this Godsend of a folder!

Ce porte partitions est très pratique plusieurs élastiques pour mettre les partitions reliées les unes à la suite des autres. Parfait en concert.

Flimsy and featureless. Not quite right if you are a regular singer.

It looks good. Keeps my score/printed music secure. I can have more than one piece of music in the folder for the one performance. Feels good to hold. What more could I want?
