These work great for being able to add notations to music when preparing for performing.

I like the style of this music binder. You can write on your music pages with removing them from the protective sheets. However, because the protective pages are bound to the cover, you can't rearrange your pages without unloading and reloading your sheets. Still the binder is handy. This brand though has a rather floppy cover. I found others, for about the same price, that have a sturdier cover, so I returned this one.

These are brilliant. Why didn't I think of this years ago! They hold the music, it's easy to take in and out and you can still write on the pages. The pages are not susceptible to wind either.

We've had some projects popping up at home with lots of different reports and topics. This is an interesting folder that allows me to fill pages without sliding papers into a pocket. It’s always difficult to get pages into pockets with all the static between plastic sheets. The top and bottom sleeve is a much easier way to hold sheets into a page plus I can write on the page while working because it’s not covered by a full plastic sleeve. I love having the option of using this notebook to keep everything organized. These are also great for putting your kid's artwork in throughout the school year. It’s just a smart-looking book with a very high-quality plastic and sturdy cover.

This folder is just what my musician daughter needed for all her loose leaf music. While binders and page protectors can be a useful option, they prevent you from being able to make notations on your sheet music. This product solves this problem with their sleeves that are open except for a flap on the top and bottom. This allows you to still have access to the actual paper for any notes you need to add. With 40 sleeves it will hold up to 80 pages too. The spiral binding allows for easy turning and a notebook that stays open. Brilliant product! At the time of this review the MECCALINE Sheet Music Folder (1 Pack, Ivory) was listed for $15.40 which is a very fair price.

Everyone's commenting on the thinness of the plastic, which I agree with, but, so far, I haven't actually torn any of them. I am being careful about it just in case, so with that, they should last a good while. Probably Scotch tape would fix any tears anyway, but I don't want to find that out the hard way.So these have been working well for me for a couple of weeks. Like any of these spiral-bound notebooks, you can't relocate the pages, but it's so simple to put sheet music in and out, I got my re-orgs done pretty quickly.I like this top/bottom flap (i.e. 2-edged) design better than the 3-edged design of another notebook I have that has another flap on the outside edge of the paper, because if I'm taking notes, that 3rd flap can be in the way. Even the top and bottom ones can be, but I pull the sheet music out in that case. I also like the 2-edged design because there's less glare. The 3-edged design does seem more sturdy however. If there is any other thing I would like, it'd be that they put front and back pockets on the covers. You get handed a lot of stuff sometimes and don't have time to put it in the plastic sheets, so help us out here. The final comment is they give you this little plastic thing for writing a name on, like a project name, that you can then see when looking at the binder from the spiral end. I didn't realize what it was for and tried using it as a sort of placeholder in the sheets, but it didn't work well for that. Looking back at the ad I discovered its function, but it's pretty smallish, not sure how effective that would be, especially for a long title. Like, you're not getting Rocky Horror Picture Show on there in any size you could actually read from a distance. This binder was a couple bucks more than the 3-edged one I got about the same time, but this one has 10 extra sheets so will hold more music. Assuming it holds up despite all the questions about its durability, I think it's a good purchase.
