Love this thing. Worked easy and smooth to lift my bike for storage. The chain is covered in a very black oil so you need a rag at first but well worth it. It's surprisingly small for lifting so much weight

Never really thought of getting a hoist until I needed to replace my old water heater that happen to be in the attic.. getting this hoist made things so much easier pulling the new one up and getting the old heater down as long as you anchor it well. It seemed to work pretty solid no issues. All I know now is that It’s going to get a lot easier when it comes time to putting stuff up in the attic and getting it down. Good cheap investment.

This is a budget tool that does do what it is intended to do. I used it to pull a 600 lb engine out of an automobile and other than having to be careful not to damage the cars paint job with the chain. All worked well.

Works great, I mounted this to an overhead joist in my workshop, and I use it to hoist up my riding mower, I can easily take the blades off and re-sharpen and reinstall without any danger

Seems to work fine, but I've not put it under a load. Everything in the box is very oily, so be ready to wipe it down for a few minutes when you unpack it.

Bought this to change and engine in my garage and it works perfectly. Smooth operation, well built, and feels like it will last for a while. Not super heavy duty, but gets the job done and it's by far the best deal out there. As others indicated the chain is very greasy, but this is a good thing!

The oil on the chain is not that bad as long as you wear glove and try not touching your clothes. Nothing exciting but get the job done.
