Single-side Interlock
- The handle of the Right-side circuit breaker interlocks the internal trip mechanism of the Left-side circuit breaker.
- Turning on the Right-side breaker will trip the Left-side breaker.
- When the Right-side breaker is ON, turning on the Left-side breaker will fail (the Left-side breaker’s tripping mechanism is locked, toggling the left handle will not cause the internal contacts to connect to the main circuit), have to manually turn off the Right-side breaker to turn on the Left-side breaker.
- Turn on the left and right handle at the same time, only the right circuit will be connected, the Left-side breaker's tripping mechanism has been disconnected in advance, there is no danger of connecting both sides of the circuit at the same time.
Installation
DIN Rail
- Install the 35mm DIN rail horizontally in a stable environment.
Installation
- Hang the circuit breaker slot on the DIN rail
- Push the lower end of the circuit breaker into the DIN rail
Dismounting
- Push the circuit breaker upward
- Turn the upper end of the circuit breaker out of the DIN rail

I wasn't sure if this would work but it ended up being exactly what we needed. We have an outside 240 volt cable that connects directly to a generator during storm. This allow for safely switching the power source from main breaker box to the generator without back-feeding power onto the outside power grid. There is a dedicated 15 amp breaker box that sits inline between this transfer box and the air conditioner. If you need a transfer switch for a single dedicated outlet (either 120v or 240v) between two different power sources and safety is a priority, this might be exactly what you need. Even if this matches your amperage, I would not rely solely on the breakers in this box but would recommend an additional external dedicated breaker of the required amperage added inline to prevent power surges.

Replaced a damaged breaker and Installed this within 10 min.Looks and feels sturdy. I use it to switch between Solar and Utility. Very handy.

i have not use the product but when i received it . It did not come with any instruction or detail of what it is . I supposed to get a 50 Amps transfer switch but there is nothing telling me that I got the correct one .

For lower amperage circuits this is a good solution for switching power sources, or could be used divert power from one machine to another.

I've been using CHTAIXI switches for some time in my camper and they are great, very reliable. This time I've decided to change another switch I had for transfer between shore and inverter, and I will be using this one from CHTAIXI. It's not automatic, but I don't need that feature. I actually prefer manual and this is exactly what it is, with the added bonus that I know this brand and I can trust it. I was even surprised it came with bars connecting the load side, very nice, so all I have to do is connect the load wires from the breaker box for Neutral and Hot to these bars. Excellent product.

Used this to switch between solar power from my inverter and regular power. Works as intended and in case of a blackout it makes going to solar power easy

It Buzzes at 10+amps 120v, sounds like something isn’t connected fully. It does work but gets slightly warm (maybe 98 degrees F) which probably has a connection issue inside the unit. My wires are tight…

Flick a switch running solar flick the other it transfers to generator. Will not let you put both on at same time.
