I play a Taylor 326ce and have been using D'Addario XLS strings for a while. I started to get tired of how bright those strings were and wanted something a bit deeper and warmer. These strings are hitting the spot! I actually order several brands based on a reddit post, but these are the first ones I tried from those recommendations and I'm already loving them way more. They feel great and are coated like the XLS, but it's just different. Maybe the coating is thinner and gives you more of the real sound of the strings? Either way, if you're looking for something new, these strings are priced great and sound even better!

I tried Elixir strings to try and gain some longevity vs traditional strings, but couldn't stop thinking I made a mistake. I just couldn't trick myself into believing they sounded nearly as good as these on my Martin D-18. They are used for a reason on these guitars.

I tried to go cheap on my strings, wow was I stupid, so I bought what originally came with the guitar, sounds perfect, rich and deep. Won't go another route again, learned my lesson

These strings were put on my baby Martin to help with sound. Did have light strings on sounded awful. The thicker strings sounds better.

Still trying to adjust to these strings. After tape wound, sound is better on first and second , but they are tight strings.
