There are several things that I like about these jars. They are the right size for bulk sizes of spices out of the garden. They are a standard size wide mouth jar size, so I can use any of the special mason jar large-mouth lids with no problem. They are totally clear on the sides with no embossed lettering, which makes seeing through them, labeling them and cleaning them a breeze. Speaking of cleaning, they are dishwasher safe also. I have not used them for regular canning jars. I am not sure how they would stand up to water-bath or pressure canning. But they are great for pickling in the fridge. They are just slightly taller than the Ball brand Pint and a Half jar by about an eighth of an inch. (See comparison picture) Not that it matters that much but if I did try to use it in the water bath canner, that eighth inch makes it so I can't get a full inch of water over the jar for safety. That is a little thing, I know. But it will matter to any canners out there who might want to try this for canning.

This is a great size for a smoothie. I'm not sure why but this size tends to break more easily than other sizes I have. Maybe I'm a little rough with them? They seem very expensive for only 6 and then to have them break often is rather annoying. That said I love them for driving in the car as they hold more than a 16 oz but still fit in a cup holder.

This is the perfect size mason jar. I have looked at farm fleet, Menards for this size of messenger and can never find them I ordered these online they were a little bit pricey, however they are truly my favorite size I like the fact it’s wide mouth straight edge holds about 20 to 24 ounces, they’re pretty versatile because you can use it for a drink, or if you make your own salad dressing, were using it for dry storage for like leftover chips in a bag. More than likely will buy again.

I use this size jar to ferment hot sauce. These jars have gotten so expensive. This brand is about half the price and the same great quality. Highly recommend.
