How to use compasses:
Open the compasses to the radius desired for your circle.
Place the compass point on a piece of paper where you would like the center point of the circle to be.
Place the point of the pencil/lead on the paper.
Rotate the compass to mark a circle on the paper with the pencil.
Draw without lifting the point of the compass off the paper.
The rulers, protractor has been clear scaled, you can use it to measure all the thing accurately,more professional and efficient.

The ruler is small... In our class we need them to be 12 inches. I believed this kit to contain a ruler of 12 inches folded in half for our Geometry class... I suppose I did not read close enough, but all is well... 12 inch rulers are a dime a dozen... Thanks for a cool looking product for my son's Geometry class. Several of the other students had the same item, and 12 inch rulers were provided by the school! Good deal!

I use it when I zentangle mostly, but have found a lot of uses for it. I fell in love with it when I saw another zentangler use it. I couldn't wait to buy it. Bought a different pretty color so we wouldn't get ours mixed up. Everybody that sees mine wants one.

Very good quality and I love that the dry erase markers don’t smudge. The markers come off the board easily with the rag that is supplied.

I really loved everything in this set, for the price it is a really good deal, all of the items and tools are made out of high quality materials which leads me to think that these would 100 percent last a long time
