I'm a crocheter and I love using this to connect yarn ends. Also, on making eyes or extra detail. It's been a big help!

This is a good high quality felting pad. I’m a beginner but I’ve been able to use it to join yarns, hide ends, and use scraps to turn into felted heart appliqués.

It's so stuff and thick that you can't actually compress the wool while filling. I'd just use a peace of foam tbh

I bought this for its size, and I basically use it as a pincushion. I park all of my pins and felting needles in it when they're not in use, and it's a great size for that. However, I have to push slowly and with force to get my thickest felting needles into this mat, and I feel like there's a substantial rick of breaking one every time I do it. I would never use this as a felting mat when working with thicker needles. Pins and thinner needles are just fine.

This needle felting pad works great for felting. Only probably I wish I was a little bigger. Other than that it works great for our art projects. The quality and thickness seem good so far. We've only used it a few times so far.
