My house has wood beam construction. During the dry winter some of the beams contract leaving gaps where they abut wallboard.This is perfect for closing those 0.25 inch gaps.You can select the width based on how many if the preset strands you peel off. The putty has a nice tack to it and is easy to work.I used this as a temporary fix. Nice thing is that unlike latex caulk, this material is easily removable.Highly recommended by this home somewhat-handy guy.

Excellent product. Works very well to seal cracks around indoor window jambs to keep winter . Peels off easily and does not mar the finish.

This product was dried out and didn’t stick as it was supposed to. Looks like they were getting rid of old inventory.

The white color is not true white, but that was ok. The issue I had was that it was not as moldable as the gray color.
